    Just found out this knife exists today.. and I’ve never been more in love with a knife. I’ve never really had a “grail” knife or understood that feeling.. but now, yeah I totally get it. Absolute perfection. It is Victoria Justice in knife form.😍

    Beautiful craftsmanship and knife. This was like watching brain surgery. I enjoy watching all of your videos because of the attention to detail is outstanding. Well done, I'd love to get one of those knives and I'm not even into knives that much!

    This was awesome to see! I have my own knife all done in cad, gonna start programming it soon. And the lockbar action of your knife was such a satisfying thing to watch it got me stoked to start producing mine.

    I believe I had sent you a message earlier. I have a Shirogorov F3 which I need to find somebody that can make a set of carbon fiber scales for it. Do you work on other peoples knives or do you just work on knives that you make. I would be willing to pay shipping material cost and your time. There is just no other way for me to get a set of carbon fiber scales for this Knife. If the knife would need to be sent to you I would ship it straight to you. I cannot afford to buy another knife with carbon scales and I really love this knife. And I do absolutely love your knives.

    Love seeing the behind the scenes work. Looks awesome! Seeing some customs recently from the shop. Is the only difference to custom being choice of materials or is process different?

    • @vcedge9466
      @vcedge9466  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The process is quite a bit different besides the materials. It starts out similar and then there's a lot of extra care, hand finishing and fitting that goes into them. Everything from extra edge rounding to inlays and hand sanding/polishing each part to perfection. As well as special detail milling and coatings not offered on the standard ones. You might have to look at them side by side to really notice all the differences since the standard ones are very good already.

    I definitely want to buy one from you ... I heard m390 coming maybe ? If not I'm still in great job

    • @vcedge9466
      @vcedge9466  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! Yeah, I'm definitely switching. The s35vn is excellent stuff and easy to sharpen (no diamonds required) so I'm very happy with the ones I've released this far. The m390 is more difficult to work with because it has a higher hardness so it will cost a bit more. However, it makes sense to do it and have better edge retention on this category of knife.

      Well I tried to get lefty and dtom on live stream to check out your knive but that was a shit show drunken batards ... clueless ! I'm gonna keep putting the word out there on knife live chats because I think you got one of the best knifes going out there

    I have just found your videos and have been binge watching. What is the model of the power supply you have. I purchased one a bit ago, but the company refunded me as they apparently didn't stock it any more.

      Hey, thanks for watching! The power supply was this one here. www.amazon.com/dp/B00PX90PIU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_TAR3GN6EF29W39ET87RS?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 looks like it's still available too.

    Awesome looking knife! I got my 1100mx ordered! Do you know if the process for anodizing aluminum is the same as titanium?

    • @vcedge9466
      @vcedge9466  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! I did some aluminum anodizing several years ago. I can tell you that it's way more complicated and requires a whole other set of tools and chemicals. Titanium is super easy by comparison but you can't get as many colors. These days I would send out aluminum parts to a specialist if I want them anodized.

    With the carbon fiber smacking against the titanium stop pin over and over. Is there any cause for concern with extended use that the carbon fiber will deform? Resulting in vertical blade play?

    • @vcedge9466
      @vcedge9466  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question! It's not a problem at all. First, the blade is much lighter than a normal one so the forces acting on the titanium stop pin are much less than a typical knife. Secondly, the carbon fiber is very rigid in the direction the forces are acting on it so it doesn't deform like other plastics might. I have some early knives that I've flipped aggressively multiple thousands of times without any noticable wear in that area.

      @@vcedge9466 thats really good to hear. I figured that you probably wouldn't have done it if it was a problem. Thank you for your response. Very cool design.

    What torque limiter do you use for the screws?

      It's from "fix it sticks". They are quite good quality so I definitely recommend them.
