I’m swapping out my OEM radio on 2004 [7th generation] Honda Accord 5 speed manual transmission. I found your video on gear shift replacement, and it came in handy on how to pull off the shifter boot so that I can gain access to the screws holding the coin tray and power socket. You went an bought the Proper JDM shift knob, great job and great video bro 👏🏾! I have the same one but in gray. I also bought a boot retainer.

they stepped up their game with their newer products. I got the same exact model shown in this video but mine had laser engraving on the side facing the bottom of the gears text saying EPMAN and their slogan underneath. A step down in terms of aesthetics but who can you blame when it's $10, and a damn sturdy one too. Their box is now labeled and has some nice graphics on it, and now comes with 3 different screw sizes, to fit all your models. (I suppose there are 3 famous standards).
yeaa it would be so nice without the laser engraving.. couldn't you remove that somehow?
@@tsimon444 I don't think so. I'm pretty sure it's embedded into the black glossy paint on it. I've still got mine in my glovebox as I am unable to take out my original shift knob. It's clearly not stock and whoever put it on clearly didn't intend for anyone to take it back off.

just wanted to comment and ask i was looking at your trim pieces for like the cigarette lighter the “not an ashtray” and like the thing that lifts up for the cubby and it almost looks like cf like my 06 v6 6 speed coupe i’ve been in the yards many times have seen hundreds of these accords and never saw the cf trim pieces except for when i bought my car, i was just wondering if your car came with that or u got it done
Yea they are so the SE trim level for the accord came with some EX features such as the the CF look trim, the 6 CD changer headunit, the 6 speaker sound system, body colored door handles and side mirrors
Looks nice but I gotta say, I don’t like the boot being that high, I would try to have it lower
