Today i had a similar problem with my A1. It started digging into the print, even pulling it off of the build plate. Now i remembered some video i saw about the extruder holder or something like that not beeing tightened well enough. So i took the cover off, removed the hot-end and removed the extruder-holder(ish) thing by removing the 3 bolts securing it (carefully because there were ofcourse 3 small cables attached to it.). After removing the holder thingy you can flip it around and see 4 bolts that came loose/ were already loose. I tightened those and installed all the parts again. Afterwards i had no issue anymore!
ive had it be as simple as not screwing the extruder in, it could also be an incorrect nozzle temp/overcooling of the plastic. it could also be a layer height issue, either its too granular or some sort of offsetting is occuring.

Ours appeared tight. We re-ran all calibration tests and all is good again
