    Great looking item. The led’s will only work in one direction as led power only flows in one direction. When you change direction you change the polarity in effect so they won’t light due to changing direction of current flow. Cheers, Chris

    Only one light comes on in DC mode depending on the direction because the lights are LEDs. D=diode so the current can only flow in one direction. They will be set up in opposite polarities so at least one comes on in DC. Hope this helps

    Hey these have come on my 3D printer I printed 1 off doesn't look as good as this 1 it has it without the light but yours looks way better than mine looks great at night time cheers Paul

    The LEDs probably only work in one direction on anologue because it's DC so the current only flows in one direction at a time. LEDs only work in one direction so they will only work when the current is flowing in the right direction. The way to solve this would be to wire in a bridge rectifier which allows the current to flow into the LEDs regardless of the direction of the current from the controller.

    Thanks for sharring this. Mine arrived yesterday and are still in the box. For DC wouldn’t it be easier to cut and isolate the track directly before the buffer stop and attach some extra wires for a permanent power supply? Cheers. Guido
