I have to say, at 56 and with decades of losing/regaining weight, being on a GLP-1 has made my journey easy! Not quick. Not cheap. Not effortless. Not without side effects to manage. But with the suppressed appetite and significantly reduced food noise, there’s no “struggle” for me. Total game changer! I hope it gets “easier” over time for those who are finding the journey hard.🙏🏾❤️
While at the gym weight lifting 😉, I was thinking about the woman who said it was “easy”. I think there’s a difference between something being “easy” vs “effortless”. I think the woman in the coffee shop is under the assumption (likely from the media) that being on a GLP-1 is “effortless”, which we all know is not true for most people! So far this process has been “easy” for me, but definitely not “effortless”. 🤣 I also think there’s a difference between something “requiring effort” and something being “hard”. Making ANY lifestyle change that requires establishing new habits is going to require “effort”, which will likely make us feel “uncomfortable” or even “challenged”, at the beginning - but it doesn’t necessarily HAVE to be hard. That part is probably just individual interpretation of what it means to feel uncomfortable or challenged since we are all coming from it with different prior life experiences.
No defense of that lady though I wish I could say I didn't see more than enough people on these meds (esp Tirzepatide) call it a magic shot or call the meds magic or say that you can eat "whatever you want" and still lose weight "like crazy".
Hey, I am on mounjaro and have lost 32lb so far And I agree with that lady to a certain extent. The medication has made it easy to stay in a calorie deficit and the appetite suppression has made it easy to focus on healthy food. The rapid weight loss has made it easy to have motivation to keep working out and to make healthy choices every day. I understand where you’re coming from with how things you have to do and the side effects of the medications aren’t easy but the medication as a tool makes it, in my case anyway, this weight loss journey easier than the previous weight loss journeys that I have had
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts! You are correct! With the medication it has been easier in many aspects, but still a very long and difficult road. 😊
I agree. It is a lot easier for me as well which gives me the motivation to stay the course. Lol! Yet everyone's journey is going to be different, but not enough to get upset about it. Good for her I say.
Oh! I am so sorry to hear about the stall! Do we have a plan? The best way to win a battle is with a plan! Please keep us posted. Here to help! We are in this together! 😉
@@Allanda180 well, I haven't lost anything since crumbl cookie came to town 4 months ago, so step one is to stay my behind out of there! 😆😆 But my plan is to make low carb desserts at home so I fulfill that sweet craving with better options and to start working out. I'll keep you updated! Hopefully I can break this stall with some extra determination.
Omgggg I am sooo happy I came across across your channel!! I absolutely love your transparency 🎉and vibe! Congratulations you are looking awesome. I’m starting this week, hopefully if my rx arrives 🤞🏽
Lol, no it is not easy at all! I am only at week 9 and I have not lost much, just a couple of pounds, and that is more me, than it is the shot. Easy, no! Maybe for some people it may be a little easier, but not for me. You are not wrong. Best of luck to you on your journey. ❤
It IS NOT easy! You did the right thing. Ignorant people do not know what they speak. Protein drinks help me to get in enough protein. Premier protein drinks taste the best I’ve tried so far. I eat too, but it’s hard to get enough protein with just food. I have a hard time getting food down. Best wishes to you and everyone here. Hang in there. You are not alone in this struggle. My side effects have been brutal at times. Insomnia, constipation and burping the worst! Same for me being absent for years from family photos. I’m rooting for you! For all of us on this journey. Thanks for sharing❤
You are doing great! Block out the noise and keep pushing through ! I did two doses of 7.5 so far but will likely have to go back to 5 because 7.5 has REALLY increased my heart rate. Will have a talk with my cardiology doc to make a plan.
Definitely not easy! My whole body still hurts from YESTERDAY'S strength workout, and I have so many other things I could have done with that $550 I gave Sam's Club Pharmacy today 😂😭 Wonder if she is on it or maybe knows someone else who is....sadly a lot of people think it's magic. Not so much.
Personally I think with GLP1s the battle is half way won! 🎉 However it definitely requires worrrrk!, discipline, patience and a strong pivot game! Willing to tweak things here and there, and trusting your intuition. But we all winning so far, just for starting and staying the course! Wishing you continued success, gurl you got this and you inspire so many! Go go...
It makes it easier, but definitely not easy. I got the sore muscles to prove it. “A delusional life.” 🤣😂 I love watching your videos, you’re doing great on your journey. Keep up the HARD work! 🙏🏽💕💕
For me I lost 45 pounds in 4 months but I wouldn’t say it was easy cause I bust my but lifting weights and doing cardio everyday now that I’m only trying to lose 20 more pounds that’s the hard part it’s not easy it’s just easier than without the medication
Hello, friend! I am a week behind watching your channel, so I hope you receive these tips to try: ratio yogurt… 24 grams of protein in a small cup!!! It is also super creamy with a different texture than regular yogurt. Up & Up target brand electrolytes… lemon /lime… so delicious and less expensive than most others!!! Best of luck and thanks for sharing your journey!!! 💕
Maybe she owes one of those spas??? She’s selling a story to make $$? Whatever the case… let it go as soon as you can… she doesn’t deserve to take any more of your headspace or spirit! This journey is not easy .. but having 90% or more of the food talk gone is a gift beyond words. Yes it’s still hard work, but it gives some food peace and believe that I will become healthy !
Kudos on staying consistent with the walking! I agree glp is not this magic instant fix some folk think it is. It still takes work. Don't let the uninformed ones color your day grey. Stay bright! We can do this!

Hey! I am doing good on 7.5. Other than a light headache on Saturday and Sunday. I was good. The appetite suppressant lasted without and disruptions. I just gave my 2nd 7.5 shot (as you saw) and I am hoping for things to stay the same 🤞🏾🫣
Good morning! I am 5’3. At the end of my videos, I usually step on the scale and give myself the shot. If the video is longer than 18 minutes, I cut out the scale portion. I try to respect people’s time. I started at 264.7 and currently I am 227.7. 37 pound down in 18 weeks. 😊
Allll Hellll Nawww! This is so not easy. I would have had to open up a can of whoop Ashes! It's so hard for me I only lost 9 pounds January thru May. It's not quick nor easy! I would have has your zepbound back if you would have went off...crazy!! Keep up the great work
I agree that weight loss isn't easy, but I believe that everyone who's doing the injections has a different journey, and each person is going to have a different outcome. But you know she’s gonna turn around and say why you all up in my business 😆 I would ask her also excuse me, Miss which medication are you referring to? It definitely is not easy, especially the exercise part . And sometimes I don’t feel like eating and I have to force myself. It’s not easy but easy things last forever and we’re looking for long time results.

Nothing about losing weight is easy. Honey just pray and move on. We know first hand, how hard it is. I go to the gym 3x a week. I work really really hard. The problem I'm having is I can tell by my clothes I'm losing. But it's not showing on the scale. That's depressing. Anyone else, having this issue.
Thank you for your comment! Great job on being consistent with the workouts. I am trying to get there! As far as weight loss, I had the opposite effect. I saw it in the scale but it took almost 3 months to see the difference in my clothes. Praying that your tide turns. Catch with your prescribing doctor as see what they say. It could be several things. 😉
The 7.5mg 3rd shot I did in the arm and I haven’t had any side effects. The stomach was a disaster and the thigh was so so but still had them. I might just stick this Tirzepatide out and just have to learn to have patience so no weight loss is not easy.
