Your the 1st Senior Chief I've ever 'known of'! Very cool. Listening, I see me, 0300 Anycity, USA, my .32 Browning in pocket shuffling by street-lamps. Amazing power music has. OS-3 Spring; (1978-83).

Obviously, the music and instruments are cool, but I was also admiring the paintings in the back 😂

I did not expect that minor jazz sound to come out of a guy in camo, but why not?!

I play the alto sax and I agree that with the saxophone you express your feelings 🎷🎷🎷

Sir, you are yet to reach my age but you have far surpassed my skill as a sax player.

Nice lesson. Like the soprano sax 🙂. Curious to learn does it take more or less wind than a larger sax or a clarinet or flute? All have good sound. Thanks for sharing. Good luck to you.

A soprano sax doesn't take very much air to play, but intonation is quite tricky on the soprano, so if you're just starting out it's recommended that you try out the alto or tenor before the soprano. The clarinet and alto sax take about as much air as each other to play. The tenor and baritone saxes each require more air than the alto and soprano. Although the flute is small, it takes a very large amount of air to play because it does not offer any resistance, many people compare its air consumption to that of a tuba!
