    When I connected the cable to the terminal, I saw spark the moment they touched, but yours seems really calm.

      Mine does it too. It happened when filming too but the camera angle didn’t show it! Happens pretty much every time I connect the battery after maintenance. I wouldn’t worry.

    Can I use a bluetooth ELM327 to code and register the battery instead of the VEEPEAK unit?

      They have a list of compatible adapters:

    What’s the difference in “agm” you said if you get a non agm you don’t select but if you do you do select but what makes a battery agm or not

      Never mind it’s the type of battery of the new one you got. Are the factory bmw batteries Agm or lead/acid or whatever

    • @mevans8646
      @mevans8646  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Factory are AGM

      @@mevans8646 oh okay. Do you know if we can fully use bimmercode or do we have to use bimmerlink or whatever the other one was… Also I’m getting a battery discharge message but only when the car is stationary and ignition on but not when the cars actually turned on, is that a give away that I’ll need a new battery soon? Guessing it’s from the random freezing temperatures my areas been getting

      @@f22_b58 yeah once you turn the car on, the alternator starts charging the battery so that message should go away. Same thing happened with mine. I’m not sure about BimmerCode vs BimmerLink, but they’re both good to have so I’d say just get both.

      @@mevans8646 ohh okay, I don’t really wanna spend $200+ on a new battery right now. If I ordered a ctek battery tender you think I could just charge it over nights instead of buying a new battery for now? I drive maybe 10 mins to work everyday so I don’t really get time to charge up the battery

    Love your videos! Quick question, what rear spoiler is that? Trying to find one similar but no luck

      Thanks! My spoiler is actually a cheapo $180 amazon spoiler (the CS style selection). Almost 2 years later it looks good as new. No clear coat yellowing that’s common on cheap carbon. Granted I did ceramic cost it along with the rest of my car. I have some photos in the review section!

    What’s up bro I have a question if I get the Costco battery agm h8 and it’s cca is 900 and ah is 95 would that be close enough to register as same capacity and type or would that be considered a new battery type ?

    • @mevans8646

      Honestly I’m not sure, I’d be more comfortable just finding a battery with specs matching your current battery!

      I got mine at a local auto store. Not sure where you’re located but O’Reilly’s or Autozone should have one that matches. You can look at all the specs online and order one that matches.
