We are almost in 2025. A month away. 12 years ago I heard this song for the first time on Homesick - An episode of the epic NCIS. There are a few songs that featured on the show that hit me hard. This is one of the harder ones. So let me tell you something. If you love this song, I love you. We are one. Music will heal this world. No more greed, no more war. No more children dying. One day. Teach them love, they will never know anything better. Peace
Thank you for this beautiful song. A tribute to my son Jordan, for many. He list his life 8 years ago at 22. This song became an amazing tribute to him💔
First time I listened this on the NCIS Christmas Episode and the song made me cray such great message and especially right now imThis dark time it stands for humans love it
I heard this on NCIS too and it is a god song, wish I was able to hear more songs like this and not just on a Tv show. We need something like Itunes just for unknown artist.
+KathyLinn Garcia we've been trying to figure it out since Plato... some call it the dark charriotter within our soul, some call it ego, some call it "irrational springs of wickedness". but notwithstanding how you call it, we all have a choice whether to fall into our animal instincts or cultivate our character so that we can be - nice.
@KathyLinn Garcia We CAN be nice, but we must also get back to what has caused the LOSS of "kindness" in our culture. Children are improperly raised by parents who have lost the idea that we MUST be kind, and since actions have consequences, we need to return to loving our neighbors: being there for them in times of joy and sorrow, sickness and good health, failure and success, good fortune and bankruptcy, living and dying. These are all part of the human condition, and we do not go-it-alone. It is a shared experience because no person is an island. As "The Alternate Routes" sang, "We are love, we are one ... We are how we treat each other when the day is done ... We are peace ... We are war ... We are how-we-treat-each-other and nothing-more." Only when this impasse in our "Me" culture is broken, will we once again be a community of men and women, boys and girls, living and celebrating our "human-ness" together in the Family of Mankind. Sadly, "Me" keeps us from becoming that Family. We must let go of "Me", and join our hands together as "Family".
