I’m very proud to listen to your band sing and play this. I think of your Mom and Dad often. Stay strong Eric

I am a Boomer, almost 70 with 23 years, 6 months, 3 days of active military service. Poets and artists have always tried to inspire people, Plato wanted music to be controlled by the government. trumpty-dumpty would admire Plato if he had more than a passing knowledge of who he was, that assumes of course that he could admire anyone other than himself. His first thought, at the mention of Plato, would most likely be of the malleable substance children mold at playtime.
I am pleased and reassured that such songs are still be written and sung. IMHO, (not sure if that is still current) Ranks right up there with some of my favorite Don Mclean tunes like "Respect", "Children of Wealth", and "General Store" and Paul Simons, "Seven O'clock News/Silent Night".

First time I heard the story behind all this, man did I cry for the family that had to suffer through this. I can't imagine the anger it brings to you. I lost someone close to me and I was still angry about it even though it was by natural causes. Bless this band for having the courage to lay it out on stage and tell the story of his pain. Hope this heals you and helps others to be inspired by this song courage too.
