@ 24k tribute and the deferral fee was 3.4k. After clearing 4 ritual sites I had 3.9k tribute total, so only if it was on the first page I could’ve deferred it
I've been in a pretty long cold period lol. When I first started doing ritual in like the second week of ea, I hit an omen of whittling and then an audience a day later. Decided to run the audience and sell the whittling so i could get my points. Then I bought 2 more audiences hoping for the belt and figured it was worth even if it didn't drop because then I could get the reroll and 50% more audiences. Didn't get a belt. Got the points though. Grinded ritual pretty hard after that, even invested in tablets off trade and tft. Haven't seen anything better than an omen of corruption since. Think I've found 3 of those in the month or so since getting all my points in and that's it. Oh and a raw divine. 0 audiences. Been a bummer. Last week or so I've stopped investing in ritual and just run them as they pop up. Been doing simulacrum farming and making pretty much guaranteed consistent currency, no cold periods, and like you said in the video, it can be ran with other mechanics, which makes it less painful when I open my 574688534th worthless consecutive ritual window lol
For those in SSF, "From The Mists" in the ritual tree I've found to be great to help you increase your number of ritual tablets since they only come from the mobs that spawn at the ritual before you activate it. That's where you're gonna get hard capped the most starting ritual off in SSF just not being able to spam them without tablets set up.
I believe you skipped a very important pain point that's named precursor sustain. You actually can't self sustain ritual tablets unless you do one specific trick. I found out "Distilled disgust" gives 90% mod on precursor tablets, combined with tree node "precursor influence" and other mods you get 150-160% quant of precursor tablets. That enables you to kinda self-sustain and not go through fucking hellscape that is shopping for tablets. Also IMO you overlook the "Allows additional reroll" tablet. It's expensive (4-5 divs atm with decent amount of rituals) but it is really really good. And there is one more trick I'd like to share... Orb of annulment can be applied to a precursor tablet. I may or may not have single-handedly made it's market crush while making a fortune on flipping "additional reroll" tablets. UPD: I also strongly believe "twin threat" is absolutely dog shit and path to that is 20% rare mosnters which is meh compared to value brought by grueling journey especially if you path to it through deadly evolution with two 3% explicit nodes.
Damnit, I had precursor sustain on the list to address but forgot it. The whole precursor section I forgot. As far as twin threat the reason I like it is because the nodes on the way to getting to it are valuable. For me pathing to grueling journey you take several nodes that are kinda meh. That's just my two cents though.
I was on a cold streak and got no audience after 3hrs of mapping then I got the purple omen but that shit cost 4K to defer, I reroll twice already and couldn’t defer it. Make me so mad I stop doing ritual
I've ran at lest a little over 100 now and I haven't seen one OWTK show up or any of the other good things. I've got 1 that gives you life and mana back if you're low or something and some red one that's worthless.

@ It depends on if I am taking promised devotion. If I am taking the normal 4 altar node, I like a combo of reroll cost, deferred cost, and monster increased tribute. If I am going promised devotion for an area I will lean heavier into reroll cost reduction tablets and monster increased tribute. You can go for the extra reroll tablet if you would like but can be risky if you don't get lucky in an area and can not feel worth it. Omen tablets I will use if I happen to roll them but I don't buy them.
One of your recent videos got me thinking, so for the sake of testing I went to extreme measures just to see how much you can juicy/increase the probability of getting high value items. As many here, I started doing some rituals casually before investing a dime, but still managed to grab lots of whittlings and audiences, anyways, this is the setup: Total investment: 70div~ - Full delirium/ritual/boss atlas - I got lucky with 8 towers affecting a wide area of good maps which were irriadated+corrupted - I bought lots of T16 maps for lvl82 with huge packsize/rare/magic monsters (to test if high end items were maybe locked to lvl81/82) - My maps had +4-5 rerolls - Rerolls were 350-400~ tribute - Increased omen appear% - Increased tribute gain - Decreased deferal cost - Decreased reroll cost - In some maps I got up to 8000 tribute after 4 Rituals which I could then reroll 4-5 times for 400~ tribute (usually it was in the 4500-7000 area) Some people said they got frustrated since mirrors appeared in their window but they couldnt afford the 3.5-4k deferal fee. SO I was ready for anything basically even after 3-4 rerolls I could afford to defer high value items / mirrors Result: very dissapointing, I ran almost 100 of those mentioned maps, 1x audience, 1x whittling I had hundreds and hundreds of windows, nothing. I don't want to kruin the party, but as you mentioned, it's hot & cold, in my case veeeery cold Cheers and thanks for the tips & videos, have good one!
Done ~2500 maps with ritual (just map spam, default tablets without omen etc), t15 and on +1 i almost always launched t16. First 300 maps Audience was per 15-16 map, later went up to 26-27 maps. Some whittle omens, a lot of corruptions and ameliorations. And prob zero another expensive omens (i prob defer something with Annul wording, but cant remeber it's cheap one or expensive. Need qol thing that can show all defered stuff). Btw, 2 times got dry streak on 100+ maps.
considering that you have a good chance to drop ingenuity by running the audience the effective cost per run is actually close to zero given the drop rate. best to farm citadels/breaches/delerium and buy audiences till you get your points.
yes t16 is ilvl 80 but so is a 15 + iradiated / corruption or 14 + iraddiated + corruption so its worth keeping a stockpile of good maps 14-16 (tip for new players watching)
You need to take the hit and buy your first few so you can get points. If you get utility belt or a nice omen from the boss encounter you recoup all costs. Atm i am getting multiple audience a day when I actually have ritual tablets.

Reroll an additional time is money to sell off or keep if you can setup a few towers around a section of maps. Chance to contain omens is S tier, more omen chance doubled up with precursor effect / map explicits gives you almost guaranteed omens or multiple per window if you set them up right. Monsters grant increased tribute is good for potential bigger setups where you might spend multiple extra rerolls. Tributes have a chance to cost % less is useless, annul it every time. Monsters have a chance to be magic/rare is meh, I haven't used them much - in theory it should give you more tribute as the monsters are a higher difficulty but I haven't noticed much. Others I think are useless.
Hey man great job! I dont know if its my personal experience only but i have noticed that when i run distilled maps i drop delirium tablets instead of ritual tablets. Is this your own experience also?
ritual tablets will only drop from within inside the ritual itself. Try using disgust dilled for increased precursor drops. will help sustain a little.
Thanks for details. I have a question about differing. If i defer an omen on page one, do i need to defer it on page 2 and 3 also? Or is it just one time per map to save it? Cause i see situations where i have points only to roll a page without being able to defer next time if i need to.
So this is a weird one to answer. You can miss deferring multiple times and the omen will still stay deferred. Basically, if you can defer it, do it, if not no worries it will pop back up soon. What I do not know personally, is if you defer an item and skip it 100 times, it will disappear. I have heard both yes and no but I have not seen an item disappear myself due to lack of deferral.
@@Snugs_TTV pretty sure if missed deferring an x number of times the cost will get higher. the game will inform the player of this when hovering over an item. the item will disappear next when the item has gone back up to it’s original value and there is no deferral cost to roll back anymore. Can easily be confirmed by deferring and experimenting on a non-value item. I learned this when I deferred a vaal orb and realised mid way that it wasn’t worth 2000+ tribute points.

@@Snugs_TTV from what i have tested (tested it with a armour piece) several times. first test was when i deferred it 1 time, then next page it said (check the symbol) itll say prices will increase again if not deferring, i did not defer, rerolled, next map it said it will be lost if not deferring. another armour piece i deferred 3 times, took 4 times for it to be gone. if im really low on points and i have a audience on the page that i deferred several times i often skip it here and there. this was nodes under the same tower area, so im not sure how it will be with different towers / tablet % Best is to test with a armour or some useless item that is noticable due to its size and easier to keep track of than a audience or omen
Do you really think ritual atlas tree give a benefit to drop rates? Audinces dropping like a candy for one of my friend and he doesnt have any point on that tree
No way to confirm, all I know is that with points in the tree I am able to farm around an audience every 1.5 hours (this is not exact but its somewhere in that ball park with a really fast build). That has been what I have been noticing in my streams anyway.
I love ritual because you mostly don’t care about the maps. Unlike breach where you hate to have maps like crypt, augury, mire. Where as in ritual, as long as it has a ritual in it I’m running it 😂
After the patch, the AOTK drop so less that it's not profitable anymore. This is because they buff the omen drop rate and pollute the loot table. If you short on div, don't try this.

I run high rarity mod maps. I drop a divine about every 2 to 4 maps sometimes multiple in a single map from breaches. I've gotten 2 from a single none breach map as well. But most my maps are over 350 rarity and over 240 on my character. With atlas tree my rarity on a map can hit over 600.
so i got a theory cuz the same thing just happened to me its my weekend been grinding audiences not one has shown up but i just removed he approaches thinking maybe its bugged and did a citadel with a high chance to drop waystones and what do you know audience on the second reroll (mind without he approaches) imma test this further and report back hope im not being to annoying. It's just rng man. What you're saying is the equivalent of "i got 2 audiences back to back when it was raining, therefore rain increases the chances of audiences showing up".

So I'm about 30-40 ritual maps deep have a good fast clear spark build and still not even seen a audience with the king in any of my rituals I think this is the worst end game mechanic by far as the chance rate is so low to start it up without buying your first boss encounter.
I think a lot of people share your sentiment. Especially since it is so all or nothing. There is no splinter system you can work towards like breach/deli

I feel like people would be more invested in breach if it worked like pinnacle map where everything drops at the end. Ritual is very volatile. You can go 50 maps with nothing, or you can find 3 audiences b2b from rerolling. Lol. My longest streak was 70 maps with no audiences or good omens.
Not sure if they fixed it, but sometimes the map spawns with less than 4 rituals even with the atlas node. Considering this and my own personal experience of getting 4 rituals often enough, "Slpreading Darkness" felt a bit like wasted points
I Have 2 lvl 95 characters 0 audiences And i do rituals quite often :D my friend dropped 2 in a day doing random maps RNG in this game Is retardér i dont even drop Divines Some days

that sounds like crazy bad luck, i'm using an ultra fast build, but pulled 5 audiences in about 6 hours last night. I remember early on I had a 3 day or period that was super frustrating.

The number of rituals on maps being 3 or 4 is around 50 -50. Once you get a good omen, you respec to the left. We can respec guys, u know.

Just got an omen of whittling on 79 lvl map. You do not need 80+ lvl to get purple omens
Whittiling and greater anul are lvl 75+ The other are 80+

As far as we know, It has absolutely no effect on ritual window.
the 4 rituals is the best set up imo.. you can even get 1 audience wtihout deferring / with 1 deferring. impossible with 3 rituals.

I run high rarity mod maps. I drop a divine about every 2 to 4 maps sometimes multiple in a single map from breaches. I've gotten 2 from a single none breach map as well. But most my maps are over 350 rarity and over 240 on my character. With atlas tree my rarity on a map can hit over 600.
so i got a theory cuz the same thing just happened to me its my weekend been grinding audiences not one has shown up but i just removed he approaches thinking maybe its bugged and did a citadel with a high chance to drop waystones and what do you know audience on the second reroll (mind without he approaches) imma test this further and report back hope im not being to annoying. BTW check your email im trying to send you a key
It's just rng man. What you're saying is the equivalent of "i got 2 audiences back to back when it was raining, therefore rain increases the chances of audiences showing up".
@reeeeally? how do you make the comparison of an ingame mechanic to a real life event hommie besides ive ran 8 rituals with 300%+ and gotten 2 more audiences ever since this coment so sure maybe is pure rng OR maybe the waystone drop % affects it the same way it affects the keys dropped by the citadel bosses for the arbiter of ash
You’re not being annoying dude it’s nice to see someone trying to give some input and experience. I’m almost sure it is RNG and not bugged or something else, but the more info the better.

@@MrJaywalk so far ive gotten 3 more all in maps with waystone drop above 350% but i also have ran over 30 maps with that much so yeah it might be pure RNG also 2 of them being on citadels
The purple omens cost 22k tribute. I almost gave up on one. Took me 2 days to buy one. A lot of time I didn't have the tribute to even defer it.
Yeah purple omens can be ultra pricy. That's probably one of the cases that I would swap to promised devotion to get it out faster and cheaper.
So I'm about 30-40 ritual maps deep have a good fast clear spark build and still not even seen a audience with the king in any of my rituals I think this is the worst end game mechanic by far as the chance rate is so low to start it up without buying your first boss encounter.
I think a lot of people share your sentiment. Especially since it is so all or nothing. There is no splinter system you can work towards like breach/deli
@Snugs_TTV like you said in the video breach is bad too 2 minutes to clear the breach 10 minutes to pick everything up. I feel like people would be more invested in breach if it worked like pinnacle map where everything drops at the end. If anyone wants to run an audience and has all the points let me run the map for you. please, your map your loot my points and il pay a div or 2 xD

Ritual is very volatile. You can go 50 maps with nothing, or you can find 3 audiences b2b from rerolling. Lol. My longest streak was 70 maps with no audiences or good omens.
I pick 2 pack of Wildwood Monsters instead of 4 Ritual, in my experience I get 4 rituals like 70% of the time
certainly not the case for me, but maybe unlucky with ritual spawns? Idk lol
Not sure if they fixed it, but sometimes the map spawns with less than 4 rituals even with the atlas node. Considering this and my own personal experience of getting 4 rituals often enough, "Slpreading Darkness" felt a bit like wasted points

Yeah... rituals key and omen RNG for king key is ass from personal experience. Used exactly your same setup of ritual tablets too.

thers nothing ito v better audiences, been running 6 DAYS now playin 4-6 hrs a day and zero good omens, zero audiences ZERO i haev all points in atlas as well. NOTHING, prior to patch id get 1 /day
that sounds like crazy bad luck, i'm using an ultra fast build, but pulled 5 audiences in about 6 hours last night. I remember early on I had a 3 day or period that was super frustrating.

Poe 2 doesn’t respect the players time. I enjoy the game, but it feels like to get the most out of it, you need to no life it 😅 like you gotta treat it like a second job
