Konza will be great. But it needs ultra-modern infrastructure. Hope you will use BRT and electric trains.

A semi conductor company is been setup at Dean kimathi University it should had been dedicated to konza also assembly of laptops which is been done at kenyatta University should have been setup at konza could have been great as anchor companies since government is lnvolved Google, Microsoft etc are in town they should markert and give lncentives to be lnvesting in konza rather than having tech companies scattered across the country and many local ones animation etc. To make it viable and vibrant.
They are many Kenyan lnventors with great lnvention they just need to be refined and supported for there ldeas to be commercialised they should start now by retaining local lnventors as we wait for technopolis to take shape.

Seems i am not the only one thinking of fab companies. Good job for bringing up the matter. Why don't we come up with a group of like minded and create a think tank of such ideas

It's in DeKUT because DeKUT offered to provide the biggest resource they were looking for; trainer labor.
Kenya does not have trained personnel for that Industry. STL needed trained labor, had the idea/curriculum on how to train the labor, & the labs...and DeKUT offered partnership.
Additionally, it's important to note that DeKUT has Kenya's first functional Science Park, so STL is still in safe hands.
