she cooks, she fly fishes, she drinks bourbon, and likes off roading, buddy you are a lucky son of a gun👍. some beautiful scenery there, those winding mountain roads are so cool. what was with all the dead trees, forest fires?
I love your videos...so down to earth and natural...wish you could post more often...would love to see your garden because you bring so much organic to your videos 👍
If you find yourselves in Trinity again. You might consider checking out the Yellow Rose and the Dorleska mines. Lots of cool old abandoned mining equipment. Including steam engines and stamp mills... The trailhead is up Coffee Creek road at the Big Flat campground. Big Flat is a free campground, BTW. The Dorleska mine is the farthest on the trail at about 6.5 miles. It is a day hike, but be prepared for the whole day, and some areas get kinda steep. So bring a lunch and lots of water...
Thanks for the great video. Where is the cabin that you rented located. Is there a map online that shoes all the different ones you can rent? Thank you!
@@campoutwestus thanks for the website. I looked at the website under lookouts for rent and cabins. I didn't see that cabin that you stayed at in the video. Where is that located? Thank you again
love watching your video, the hall city cave, i had a cave in the middle of nv. that i came up on, last week, that was flooded about 3 feet in the entrance way then down to a collecter basin , i also carry my small pump unit, so we decided to see if we could pump the water out, well after about 3 hrs of pumping the colloctor basin was empty i moved down into the basin finding , alot of gold chunks and so i collected it up and started to make my way back to the truck, , we started the pump again ran for 1 hr, and did this back and forth for 2 days and nights, i ve been here before but no pump, ! in the and we collected alot of gold and found some gems in the mine, the reason not seeing anything before is because of the water in the basin, .i stack claim thru BLM and now have another location to mine, . i would love to come to that mine to see if its got something too.
Wow, that's incredible! Some scuba divers have gone down Hall City Cave, but haven't reached the bottom. I guess it goes down a couple hundred feet. That's so cool that you found gold and gems on your claim!
There is a link to scuba exploration inside of the Hall City Cave. It looks frightening!
I remember as little kids, our dad dragged us to Shasta Caverns.
I've still never been there, was it interesting?
Another great video, that cave was awesome!
It's pretty neat, very different from a lot of caves. Thanks for watching!
I grew up in Trinity and have fond memories of all the places you visited…
@@flyprincess69 that's wonderful, it's really a beautiful area.
@@campoutwestus There’s tons more than that!

😁 thanks! Yes, that area (along with most of Northern California) has been hit hard with forest fires, especially in the last 4- 5 years.
Congratulations on 1000 subscribers Heather.
Almost there, thank you Hunter!
Like Adam & Eve in the Eden. Beautiful!

Wow, thank you for the compliment. Maybe next summer I'll do a garden tour and show how I preserve things.

Great video as always. My daughter and I were over there hunting by trinity lake a couple of weeks back.
Any luck? That was the one area this whole trip where we hardly saw anyone hunting. Thank you for watching!
Thanks for the video

Hey congrats on hitting 1k subs! That fire lookout was awesome!
Thank you! I love fire lookouts, but that's the first time we've been to one where someone was working and got to see how the navigation works.
There's some out this way in the Pinelands but I havent been to one yet. Its on my to do list lol.
@@buscampers I hope you get out there, I'd love to see it in a video!
The Shasta portal/doorway. I have always wanted to check that out,
Very beautiful, though quite a bit of burned area.
Epic adventure!
