Yeah that fuel nipple is going to leak over time.

Very cool old west town. I liked the air b&b. That was a large event for so few people living there. They must love their history. The old fire engines were neat. I wasn’t expecting the old planted cars. It reminded me of the Cadillacs in Amarillo TX. 👍34
@@CraigKoppel they have so much love for their towns history! The cars are very similar to the Cadillacs in Texas. Thanks for watching 👍
Nice intro!
@@Buywithbrigitte707 thanks 👍😁
Great content! Been looking at this RTT for quite some time now and came across your review. How do you find yourselves sleeping in it? How's the storage and inflating/deflating issue? Thanks!
@@The.Weekend.Campers we use the side entrance for sleeping, one of us has to crawl over the other to get out at night. We finally found a deflator that works. My husband can latch it closed, but I'm not strong enough. We plan on making a follow up video soon now that we've slept in it quite a bit more. We discovered some issues with the design of the windows that we really hate.
@campoutwestus looking forward to some of the pointers thanks for the heads up!
Im so glad you enjoyed Goldfield Days! As a small town, we really appreciate being able to hold these events. You toured a lot of the historical buildings but i reccomend you visit some of the local businesses next time you come. I suggest the Dinky Diner, they have delicious home cooked meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is one of my favorite places in Goldfield.
@haidenanderson7201 we love Goldfield! Dinky Diner was closed when we tried to go, so hopefully next time we can try it. Thanks for watching! We will be back 👍
What an interesting town!! Thanks for sharing, I've never been there.
Thanks for watching, Goldfield is an amazing place!

Love that cabin. Last time I was there there was a note saying not too post it online 👀 Mojave is a jolly time.
@@Sergiop4x while I showed it, I didn't give the name or location to keep it a secret 😉
The description of "the tractor made from parts lying around the ranch" is interesting. It is actually a hay buck used in stacking loose hay. Likely made by Jack Fine of Frenchglen. My mom went to school at Crane High with Jack and his wife Kathrine. I worked the hay crew at Rock Creek ranch for three years. We stacked loose hay using two of Jack Fines hay bucks as part of the process. That was 55 years ago. Hardest work I ever did. Paid $9.00 per day, with $1.50 taken out for room and board.
@@RichardFranklin-s7f thanks for the information and the interesting history. I bet that was hard work! What a cool place to grow up.
So unless you remove the mattress and fully deflate you cant actually fully close the tent and have the seals protect from water? What a crap design.
@@dquangt we have since found a deflator that works better. You still need to have all bedding removed to completely seal. We will be doing a follow up video soon now that we've used the tent more. There are other design flaws we have found.
I love the history and research you put in the videos. BLM once had Adopt a Cabin program in the Panamint Valley area, I wonder if it still going?

Was so cool to see Goffs Schoolhouse! And then my Grandpas portrait (a glimpse of it on the wall ) My Grandpa rescued the schoolhouse from rubble and made it his home…he hand dug water lines from the railroad tracks to the schoolhouse by hand…in his 60s!! They sold it in the early 90s to the friends of the Mojave when they needed to move closer to medical care for his wife.
