The solder paste is powdered solder mixed with flux and i love the stuff and the pencil torch (pen torch) are also great little tools for some fast and dirty solder work

Flux is a chemical that's used to remove any impurities like oxidation or foreign particles. Flux is neutral in normal state but when heated it is quite corrosive so try avoiding to touch it.

Yeah, but not all UVs are the same, depending on the wavelengths they are divided into 3 sections, UV A, UV B and UV C. Only the latter will have a powerful antibacterial effect. B and C are also very dangerous to skin and eyes
Anyone else notice the cable to the lamp (2.55) the cable covering has shrunk and exposing the wires, just before the switch. Potential hazard, which he fixed by electrical-tape ABOVE the switch! I want to UV lamp my mouth. The cat deserves the world and beyond. If i cant UV lamp the bacteria in my mouth, I will drink soap instead. Also, last thing, For 2 mil subscribers you could probably make a suprise for your cat.
that uv lamp won't work as you need a specific wavelength called UV C and that light is very harmful to humans that's why when you buy a UV C pond filter the lamp turns off when you open the lid :)

The uvc disinfectant lamp should not be used around eyes or skin. It can cause permanent damage.
I'm sure the short exposure to that UV-C light wasn't harmful. However, that product shouldn't be used often and operated remotely.

There are lead-free solders. They do contain tin, but are a safer alternative to Pb.
