Great review. Super jealous, had this one in my cart but by the time I found my credit card it was sold out lol. Didn't realise how small the batch they made was but it looks fantastic. Hopefully the good feedback they get inspires them to make more of it since I can't get enough of Four Pillars 😍

I’m not sure if you live in Sydney, but I’ve heard rumours that they might have a few bottles at the Four Pillars bar and bottleshop in Surry Hills 😱 not 100% certain though

@@TimandTonic Not in Sydney unfortunately, locked down hard in Melb lol. Hopefully one of the locals around here manage to get a hold of a bottle or two. I was lucky to find a bottle of the Christmas Gin and the Barrel aged one from them so they tend to be generally ok with getting in hard to find bottles from time to time, just got to be quick!

Hi Tim. Vancouver has the Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin - I have a bottle but I haven't tasted it yet. I don't think we have the rarest (latest) release here in the green bottle. When I was at a private spirit store a few weeks ago I grabbed the Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin when I saw it. It doesn't last long on the shelves. Aussie Gin sells fast locally. It's so popular - it's the same for wine and other spirits. Curiously there are many transplanted Aussies who live in Vancouver! They also consume lots of spirits! I am definitely going to listen now to the review of the Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin. The addition of a couple of flavours in to the "rarest" dry gin sounds like a gin I really want to try. With the addition of lavender in to a gin, my only concern is that sometimes Bergamot can overpower some gins. I am a huge Juniper lover, so no matter what gin I buy and try, it can have many lovely complex flavours, but I do want to get a good hit of Juniper! Not many people I am close to here in the spirit community love Juniper to the extent that I do but I have come to realize I love experimenting with gin but Juniper needs to be there when I taste the gin. Drinking it neat, as I often do when getting to know a new gin, really lets me know if some of the added botanicals will overpower the Juniper. I am looking forward to cracking open the Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin and sharing it with Juniper/Gin loving friends!! Cheers Tim! 🙂
