I do remember doing some research on Bombay Sapphire and there’s definitely some sort of almond in it…The smell you’re getting of vanilla is almond…as somebody with allergies I think this should be labelled as containing nuts…

In your research, which of these tonic waters is best & has the highest integrity of the quinine for medicinal uses? Why? I don't drink gin or any alcohol for that matter. However, with that said, your video is very informative & well executed. Love & Light 💜💯

Borjomi , is the real mineral water you want to drink , anything else i have seen in Britain, France and Germany is man made carbonated water , which has no minerals like Georgian Borjomi. One of the most expensive mineral water for decades in Europe

I like gin. I like drinking Quinine sulfate even more. But, I cannot stand your voice. I thought it was the speed. No, even changing the speed to 75% doesn't change the high pitch.

The Malfy Arancia (w/ Mediterranean Tonic and a sprig of Thyme) and Limone were both big hits for my partner and me, and the Grapefruit Rosa was a dud for us.

for a classic martini do you do 2:1 or 5:1 ratio? I tried 5:1 with Noilly Prat dry vermouth and Tanqueray Gin but I didn't like it a lot. I went on reddit and they told me to use 2:1 since this is the classic martini ratio. When I google it though, all the time I read 5:1 is for classic martini and vodka martini..? I just bought Dolin Dry Vermouth and Monkey 47 Gin and I will try 2:1.

Hendricks is sold at 44% ABV in Europe.

I have a 1.75l bottle of both in my freezer. Here in Dallas they are within $1 of each other. Botanist is my first choice but it seems like Hendrix has a braoder footprint when away from home. They're both wonderful!

"Navy Strength" - What you're telling there, is the story behind the word "Proof". Thats kinda left out.

I cannot find but only 1 or 2 Sloe Gins in liquor stores around my state of Illinois.

Is Britvic tonic water is alcoholic?

My wife and I just spent a week in London at the Great Scotland Yard Hotel. It was a wonderful hotel with a great bar and staff. My wife and I spent several evenings there enjoying their great scotches and gin and tonics. We started to order our drinks. I usually order Bombay Sapphire on the rocks with olives and my wife loves Tanqueray with Schweppes tonic. Our bar tender suggested that my wife may enjoy a different gin and a different tonic. He introduced us with a gin from France “Transatlantic Navy Strength Gin” distilled from grapes, with Fresh pineapple and chili & peppers. He also introduced us to Fever-Tree Tonic water. That evening changed our Gin and Tonics. When we returned home in South Carolina ❤we have been able to find numerous sources for most of the Fever-Tree tonics (at various prices), however we have not been successful in finding Bordeaux Distilling’s Transatlantic Navy Strength Gin if anyone knows of a source in the USA or a site that I can purchase and have it shipped. Great perspective!

Tried many gins but somehow not got round to trying Botanist. As a summer gin Hendricks superb, fever tree and a long thin slice of cumber makes for a wonderful refreshing drink.

It's 65 bucks for one liter here in the US at my local liquor store. I thought that was a lot, but I guess it isn't.

I usually drink the common brands of tonic water plain. It has a grapefruit-like flavor-taste (you can also mix it with unsweetened grapefruit juice for a spritzy summertime beverage-drink). Most drinks that claim to be "grapefruit-flavored" taste nothing like grapefruit.

So glad I’m in Cambodia where the typical Gin & Tonic at a restaurant is only $2.00 US. I’m enjoying one now as I watch this amazing video. Cheers!

I’m drinking Fever-Tree right now. How appropriate. I will not buy a tonic with artificial ingredients or fructose or any artificial (fake) or diet sugars. Another favorite is Q brand.
