@@Justfor2day10 I first heard him with stone sour and then later on with slipknot but slipknot is much heavier and it took me a minute to realize that he was the same guy in both bands. But that was a long while ago. I really enjoy when rock bands do an acoustic set. Thats where their true colors shine.
Blue Wildgrube Same here I first heard him in Stone sour and a buddy of mine years later told me the lead singer for Slipknot was same dude for Stone sour! I said BS and started researching it and was blown away to find out the truth!

Corey's neck is a mile wide. One might assume that his vocal chords take up two blocks minimum. That said, his range is very impressive compared to this, Slipknot, and Stone Sour. Don't count guys out from Des Moines, we know how to rock it out.
I don't even have VR, but more videos should be shot like this. Just having the ability to pan around and watch the singer and the audience react at the same time is amazing. It's so much better than edited concert recordings where you have hard cuts between the stage and the audience.

TOOL and Eagles are both better rock bands. That’s just two. If I took time I could find many more. John Fogerty is a beast no doubt, but I wouldn’t consider him Top 10 in any category. And for the rest of the band members, they had juvenile instrument skill at best. John literally WAS CCR.
Now we get to look at TOOL. (Progressive metal band, if you’re unfamiliar). All of the musicians are highly regarded in the music industry with high marks. Justin Chancellor (IMO) is one of the greatest bass players of all time. This isn’t a hot take. Maynard James Keenan is one of the most powerful vocalists any genre has ever seen. Danny Carey is an octopus on the drums, and Adam Jones has some mean riffs. I mean MEAN. 😂.
Eagles are one of the bestselling bands of all time. This doesn’t make them great by itself, considering that people like Ke$ha and Imagine Dragons have millions of sales. Don Henley is great, although a douche bag. Glenn Frey, R.I.P., was also great. So was Don Felder and Joe Walsh and Bernie and everyone else the Eagles circulated.
Basically, the musicianship alone in my opinion KILLS CCR by miles and miles. I absolutely love CCR, and I understand that they are a quintessential American band. I’m not sure who would argue with that.

Corey and the other guy definitely did the song Justice. I'm not a fan of Slipknot or Stone Sour but I do think Corey and the other guy are both very talented. I have to give both Corey and Christian credit, they both deserve a lot of credit for their talent.
