Well Slipknot wasn't Corey's band. He was asked to be the vocalist and as a result, stretched his vocal style to match what the band played. Stone Sour is Corey's band. Both Rock like all Hell but Stone Sour shows more of what Corey is as an individual.

when I first heard this song I imagined the band playing for a bunch of ballroom dancers in a room that's caught fire which gets bigger and bigger and bigger and nobody cares if they're about to be swallowed into the flames, they just keep dancing until the whole place explodes at the end.
Cory does a great job on this tune. As does the entire band. The keys on this tune really hold the bottom in and give it that big full sound. A great thing for an arena band. My best to the crew for all thier hard work as well. Without them none of this would of been possible.😊

Was watching an interview recently of Corey being interviewed by Larry King, and Corey said that Slipknot's and Stone Sour's sounds are very different. I completely agree. Slipknot is more raw, loud, and violent. Stone Sour is much more melodic and cleaner vocals. Love both bands to death \m/
And thanks to Josh Rand and his money boner, Stone Sour lost a very talented guitarist. Hopefully Corey see's the light and sticks with Knot for a few records before going back!

After some rough teenage years i distanced myself from her for many years and never really tried to rebuild the bridges that i burned.. She passed away october 2019 from pancreatic cancer after fighting it like hell for about a year.. Now i speak to her everyday and cry when i do... Life is short folks.. Forgive, forget, let go of the b.s..
