You need to put some big riprap rock on each end of the culvert. The peacock needs some boards across the trailer for some perching boards off the trailer floor. Also a piece of that cattle fence on the back doors of the trailer so it doesn’t fly out.

You would think he would have lesrnedvtgat from t hug e times he bought them. At that part of the year they will absolutely go off to look for another one to mate with. Remember when that one went missing and he never found it. I believe that's why.
I honestly love videos like this when you guys are just doing chores around the farm.
We have 2 flocks of peacocks that roam our neighborhood. One a flock of the green and blue and a flock of Albino ones. Definitely something you don’t see every day when driving around town. They tend to just roam the neighborhood and go home every night to roost. I really only hear the male crow when hes calling in his ladies.

some of my old neighbors raised peacocks and they used some great pyrenes dogs to keep the round up all day. also they like roosting in trees

Our rabbits hump all the time. The girls hump each other, and the boys hump each other. They're trying to express dominance. It's just part of building the social structure of the group. Any time one actually attacked another, we separated it for a few days, and that took care of it.

one of the farms down the road in Alberta has peacocks, vegetable scraps and a 8x8 cage same as chickens... but they are the fancy colored ones... for feathers. need to bead them and hope one comes out.

I love the videos hearing say it’s been 3 years since the peacocks and I realized that I’ve been watching the vids since before then and longer than I can remember and every time that notification pops up seeing that you uploaded makes my day a million times better than it was before I just wanted to say thank you for the amazing content you put out you and the guys make more of a difference to people than you will ever know
I do like the box idea i had thought like that before. I have a new interesting idea but might be over the top. Think of it as half pipe skate ramp. You would have a raised platform outside of the fence tall enough you can even drive under it but low enough you can use your equipment to place the bales on it. You can line up 4 bales or 8 side by side. There will be a ramp that you can roll/release the bale down the ramp into the feed zone or even into a bale holder. Bales will keep air dried not rot as fast. Just make sure the ramp only extends to the top of the fence so the goats cant get out. I bet a lot of chickens would love to play on it.
Best way to relax after a long day of school. I really want to see more overnight hot tent camping videos. By the way the videos have been bangers lately.

I have those two way gate latches on every gate we use somewhat frequently.
Also that big bolt style gate hinge is more so for a 2" gate as the pin is generally larger so you have to watch out for that.

Peacocks make GREAT alarm systems!! When you hear them yelling, pay attention to what’s going on around them.. I know a farmer here in Ky that has them just for that reason.. That way when he’s not in/around his house but out working in the building, they yell and he normally knows someone is driving up to his house.. it’s pretty cool!! Ginnies are great to have around too for tics and bugs.. they will eat the majority that they can find!! Great video as usual @Flair !! And with @BigJr going to “Swat” practice… Is he an officer of sorts somewhere?? I’ve not heard anything about that, but I’ve only been a member for a couple years now.. I am a farm manager and we have a designated trailer just for the round bell. We also have one of those cattle crossings that keep the animals from crossing over so we can leave our gate open when I get home with the round bell before I ever cross the guard I get out and I cut, the wrap and fluff they hay. Then I climbed back up into the FARM truck cross over the guard and take the trailer to the designated, dropping spot, unhook and drive away.

Usually 2 weeks for the peacock to realize that is new home..otherwise may leave..to try to go back where it came from..yes get along with turkeys and chickens..love to roost up in trees or on roofs
Flair love the videos y’all are never a dull moment, White or colored the mails have the long tails and the hens have the short ones. I’ve know people like my dad to have them locked up for a year and they still leave after being let loose. I think it depends on the bird itself. My dad when he was alive has had all kinds of birds and animals in my life, you just about can name it and he has had some. Keep the videos coming!

I farm hand at a peacock farm. They have 75 peacocks and they sell the tail feathers once they fall off. I can tell you for certain that’s a male otherwise it would be called a peahen. Foot deformity’s are normal. He will be incredibly annoying for 2 months of the spring and will hang out around your house. They like to perch in barn rafters to stay out of the weather. He may try and fight with the turkeys.
