As a bass clarinet player, 4:06 is my favorite part, I'm so glad I got to do that part at my concert and I'm glad I soloed that too! It was my dream to get my first solo. I'm happy I got to complete my goal.
I’m not a Harry Potter geek but we played this for spring concert i didn’t really like much of the song but our director let us run wild during showdown and as a low brass we made the room shake

As a flute player, the beginning is a sure favorite of mine. My fellow flute player and I play, kinda having a solo. We might only have 2 flute players this year, but we both are able to play the beginning

I played this in 5th grade (in 8th now) and it brings back so much nostalgia. I played the alto sax solo and my best friend played the flute solo. It was a great song to play.
3:45 and 0:25 are personally my favorite to play as a bass cl their just fun and energetic

I remember this was one of the things we played for a band competition my freshman year of high school and at the ending I began to cry because of how beautiful we sounded.. with even more we ended up getting great judge ratings for the first time in years on something and won two trophy's.. It'll forever be the greatest year of my life..
3:00 when we played this in band last year we joked that the Clarinets are Dumbledore’s army, I still love this piece btw

I suggested for my hs band to play a Harry Potter piece for our concert in October, and I definitely didn't tell my director for us to play *this* , but I'm so so glad that he chose this one. It's absolutely beautiful and the fact that we get to play my favorite piece, not just by John Williams, but my favorite piece of music in the history of forever, "Leaving Hogwarts" just makes me so happy and excited for our upcoming concert when we play this. I'm planning to wear my Hufflepuff scarf once we do our October concert!
Tbh I love the suspended symbol part this had helped me with playing it. And tbh at my school this went pretty well

The percussion part with all the extras(tambourine, triangle, suspended cymbal, and gong) is so fun to play

The low brass part at measure 143, is like the only time low brass gets melody. When playing tuba, that really gets some dopamine rushing
