Enjoyable video! Tried the Cavell S, so thought some comment would be worthwhile. The positives: decent current price (£23.99) nice around the green, decent spin and good feel. The negatives: low flight (agree on that), lacquer finish on ball peels pretty quick and definitely shorter than other balls of this type. For comparison, a Srixon AD333 Tour was 5-10 yards longer for me off the tee for similar greenside performance and feel. For me, although the S is a decent ball for the price, it doesn't cut it for performance. For context, currently a WHS 3.0 index and driver typically around 240-250 yards carry.
great video! i currently use the Bridgestone Tour BX S balls and i really like those, really nice feel, good distance and seem to get a lot of spin on short and long chip and pitch shots
Very nice!
I use anything I find in the lakes 😂😂 Another great video 👍🏌♂️
🤣😂😂😂
Honest truth when I was teaching I got free golf balls so I played pro v , now I buy them I use kirkland because there the cheapest urethane cover for the money , great vlog lads 🏌️♂️⛳️👍
Thanks mate
I tend to use ProV1 as they are very nice to chip and putt with. But honestly, I don't think ball type makes much difference to amateur golf. Amateurs don't hit the ball well enough or hit enough balls each day to feel the difference between them. In fact, only about 2% of amateur golfers compress the ball so mostly they don't strike it properly anyway. Even 50% of club pros don't compress the ball properly. I'm sure tour pros can tell the difference because they hit so many shots and are always within 1/4 inch of the centre of the club face. But for amateurs, I think it's a bit like equipment generally - it won't make you a better player. It's just a different tool to learn to use.
Interesting take, respect it though
I’ve just got some of the 4 piece 👍🏻
💰
I use Kirkland just because I go through them pretty quick and when they are in play they have good performance. I need a ball with good bounce back abilities like bouncing of houses into play😅
Hahahaha love this
Nice TrackMan there Ash...is it yours or Louis'?
119mph is getting up there fella, very impressed with those numbers...but the smash is a little low perhaps? Had smash been up at 1.4+ (instead of the 1.37ish) I think you would probably have seen distances that you are both used to 👍
Ball? I've been using TP5X and TP5 for the past few of seasons
Our trackman that mate ✌️
@@thegolfsupply Quality!
Pleased for you fella 👍👍👍
There only £10 a dozen cheaper than pro Vs I would buy them an vice pro are £30 a dozen
I currently use Taylormade tour response stripes
There’s a lot of love for those tour responses
for £36 id rather pay an extra tenner an get Pro V1s tbh. might just be me
Fair shout dude
I don’t think £37 represents good enough value for a new and mostly untested brand. I’ll stick with the Tour Softs at £34.
Fair one G
£23 mate
Now down to £22.49per dozen.
👍👍
