Hello,
I began travelling to Mathura on September 7th, 2023. From Howrah Junction, I boarded the Howrah - Mathura Chambal Express. I took the Second A/C coach on the Chambal Express. It took more than 28 hours to travel to Mathura. Although the travel was pretty nice, this train did not have a pantry car, so you would need to bring your own food if you wanted to get a proper meal. I have described the entire Chambal Express journey in this video.
On Friday, the 12177 CHAMBAL EXPRESS travels from Kolkata Howrah Junction (HWH) to Mathura Junction (MTJ). Train leaves Howrah Junction in Kolkata at 17.45 and arrives at Mathura Junction at 19.45. 12177 Howrah - Mathura Chambal Express departs from Kolkata Howrah Junction (HWH) and arrives at Mathura Junction (MTJ) in two days. From Kolkata Howrah Junction to Mathura Junction, the CHAMBAL EXPRESS travels through 35 significant stations. The travel to Mathura Junction lasts a total of 26.00 hours.

The Krishna circuit, which includes Mathura, Vrindavan, Barsana, Govardhan, Kurukshetra, Dwarka, and Bhalka, includes Mathura. Every year, Mathura celebrates Janmashtami in great style. Mathura has been selected as one of the heritage cities under the Government of India's Heritage City Development and Augmentation Yojana programme.
