Absolutely horrible, HBO seems to have a idea of destroying anything GRR Martin wrote. The turned game of thrones into unwatchable garbage and just made a full season of NOTHING on this show. House of the Dragon is dead now. They could have wrapped up Rhanyras story this season. She should have been eaten by Aegons dragon sunfire in the finale. HBO saying Sunfire is dead?!! Ummm no, we all know he eats the queen after burning her. What is going on?
In episode 3 what Rhaenyra realized was that Alycent misinterpreted Viserys, as he was talking about the whole old Aegon's dream, the white walkers prophecy, and who would be the one that would defeat that threat, Rhaernyra then explained that to Alycent, who realized she had made a mistake by thinking Viserys wanted their son to be king, but, it made no difference now there was no stopping to the war..

One quick correction. When Alisant told her about Aegon, the prince that was promised, Raenerya did not believe her father changed his mind. That was the prohecy passed down from King to King and her father passed it to her. She realized her father didn't change her mind and Alicent didn't lie either. She misunderstood Viscerys. Aegon, The Prince that was promised was about Jon Snow. But you know they ruined that whole thing. So, no. Raeynera was surpised her father told her something only Kings know. Thankkkk you. Alicent *only* starts even reading the histories because she’s trying to find the prince that was promised prophecy. So she knows she misunderstood. And now Rhaenyra is completely ready to go to war when before she was trying to avoid it. Like the whole interaction Rhaenyra was like “he told *YOU* about TPTWP???” And Alicent is like oh shit. And it lets Nyra know that her father never doubted her. Alicent realizes how badly she screwed up and it starts her uhhh “change” I dunno. They haven’t followed much of source at all lol book Alicent would have slit nyra’s throat and same thing. So interesting changes. But that part of the video drove me nuts lol.
Woah sweetie you really got to pay attention to what you're watching and the dialogue because you said that line completely wrong completely wrong. at 32:15 when Rhyneara spoke to Alice t about King Viseares final words to Alicent but you completely skipped over the part where we never told Allison that was a story about the Prince who was promised! And AliCENT replied stuttering saYIN AE-eg-GGgON the Co-Cco-nQueror?? And that was exactly the moment where the Queen 👑 realized that she effed up badly😂😂 He basically started the whole war and the extinction of the dragons over a misunderstanding
I find it quite weird that we are presented with a feudal society trying to avoid war as a central plot. ASOIAF did a good job of portraying such societies, while this just doesn't ring true. All those men-at-arms who have spent their whole lives training for war, and hoping for glory, would be champing at the bit to get things started.
Actually i belive it rings really ture .. if you think about the war pf the roses or the roman war between julius ceaser and pompey , the cold war or world war 1 i dont know witch but they all had feudal soicitys , soliders life at arms from child age but neither partys really wanted all out war . Conquer new foregin lands is one thing or protecting your lands n people but warring within yourselfs over power , disagreements is not a war that one really ever wins . Everyone loses . Your killing , hurting your own peopke , lands , future resources . Tit for tat is regretted by both sides when postion dose not allow another path but all n out war . Later to be relayrd by winner or loser lol to pass on to futures .
