This series reminds me of the OBLIVION SONG comics, the way the disease spreads and how it looks but most especially the part where Joel finds Tommy, it is the same way main character in the comics finds his brother same way. The brother’s partner is leading a troupe that captures a new guy approaching their territory, the new guy is interrogated and it turns out the troupe leader knows their name and the brother they search for, they are led to a community where everyone coexists perfectly and the lost brother is married/dating the troupe leader….
The word "ibu" in "ibu Ratna" means "ms" or "mrs". But if directly translated, from Bahasa, "ibu" means mother. Her (nick)name is just Ratna.
