034 does not supply a spring that doesn't fit as a direct replacement without having to make modifications, you should not have cut that bottom rubber the bottom aligns it and the top is just an impression from the old spring you were supposed to just fit it and align with the bottom rubber the top would make new indentation through use. You should probably order a new bottom rubber and redo those to add the strength back.
Thank you for the message we found there was a bigger arch gap and didnt wanna upgrade the wheels that were already 20 inch alloys and didnt wanna effect the ride too much. We found after the suspension was changed was much better at cornering and ride wasnt effected

I have to wonder if lowering springs is even worth it on an s5, its already super low to begin with.
