Emerson Bulleting AE4-1287 States 292°, 2100 ohms. Yes, I said that right. Lol And, I should add that if you leave that jumper in too long, the module will lockout on “shorted probe failure”. As a proactive measure, reset that switch when you’re done testing. Great videos!
5:53 - You’re calling this sight glass ‘clear’ even though I see a lot of movement. That would be ‘flashing’ to me. Was that a reflection from something else? Or can you have some bubbles in a sight glass and still call it clear?
I am new on the trade. So I am assuming to do all this valves need to be turn off and pressure blead from the compressor... if this is the case could you show how to and what will be the right procedure. Love your videos
I do it with the compressor running when checking the demand cooling. All valves open to it it’s only when I open the compressor can is when I will shut off real quick checking wiring.. Thank you
Great video. Dealing with this on a large walk in freezer. Tripped twice. But within a day apart. You stated it could be a dirty probe ill check. I know the drier was just changed and heard it was very dirty. So could be. That. Low charge is definitely a possibility too. Started to frost up at the suction drier back to the compressor. Honestly could be a clogged drier again.
Silly question, but demand cooling is basically dumping liquid into the head of the compressor to cool compressor head down due to how much hotter it runs because it’s low temp? And that sensor is reading head temp? Sorry I’m still a noob and trying to learn.
If it’s stuck open then yea that compressor would have a nice ice ball around it. Like any solenoid after so many cycles eventually it could fail internally

High temp sensor strapped to the discharge line then ran to the A.I. Point... then run L1 and S on the module to an R.O. point and programing it on a sensor control task? who, Me?
* Replaces case temperature thermistor with potentiometer then dials resistance to a corresponding interpreted temperature of negative eight degrees Fahrenheit * Who me?!?!
I have 6 R448A refrigeration systems at the facility I'm taking care of. 1 of the systems is randomly tripping on demand cooling. In order to take out the sensor from the head, I saw the valves need to be shut so I'm assuming that means the refrigerant😢😢 needs to be taken out of the compressor before the sensor is removed and a vacuum placed on the compressor once the sensor is replaced? This is a good video btw and one of the most detailed I've found, thanks for making it.

Hi may i know why injection solenoid stock on close position thus it makes my compressor formed ice on its body hope you notice my qurries

Did you close service valves when removing sensor?
Yea the compressor was valved off Suction, Discharge, Oil line and liquid injection valve were all off.
