    I usually check OCV differential at the end of common oil line going to compressors, there should be a service port. Its a lot faster

    Awesome! Ty for this easy to follow video. I’m going to go test the 5 small racks that I have at this store.

    Great use of the segway to an illustration!
    These rack room videos could use a lot more of them.
    (Including yours - segways to diagrams to get a grip on what's flowing where. )

    👍 video. I started in commercial ref straight into rack without any knowledge sink or swim method.. it was confusing for like 1 year and change that stumped me on a call one day I had to do research but anyways, keep it up bro!!

    Great explanation as always can’t wait for the big oil showdown videos,what percentage of your calls would you say are oil related in the supermarket field

    this video is critical, a bad ocv check can take a rack down anyday of the week

    What happens if you install an ocv that is rated for 10 more? Example, a ocv 30 installed for a ocv 20

    Cheers mate. What would some symptoms of a bad check valve be?

    • @refrigerationconfidential4376
      @refrigerationconfidential4376  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The entire rack would be off on oil not just one compressor. No oil would be pushed to compressors no oil in them.

    • @thanktheknife

      @@refrigerationconfidential4376 thanks for reply, so does it use pressure from the discharge to create a higher pressure than the suction line, so oil can go to comps?

    • @refrigerationconfidential4376
      @refrigerationconfidential4376  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thanktheknife The equalization line is piped to the higher suction group like the +35 to help the oil push to the compressors

    What is "the equalizing line to the suction group"?

    • @cesar235cs
      @cesar235cs ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Drains back to the rack excess high pressure from reservoir, example you have 200 psig oil coming from separator into reservoir so your reservoir gets filled up with 200psig but you need just 70 like in this video (50 suction plus OCV20 equals 70 psig) the remaining 130psig vapor pressure will bleed into suction header, " remember this is not constant 130 going into header" it's just when separator sends high pressure oil into reservoir. I hope this helps

      Yes, thanks.
      What is OCV20?
