    So psyched to see Konstantin interacting with FAIR. He's exactly the kind of person we want supporting us.

    Konstantin, you disagree with some of Sam's views, but you RESPECT him and value his perspective. A huge percentage of the problems we experience on social media would disappear if more people had your "balance". There are some things that I disagree with you on, but because I know you are speaking from your heart and what you understand to be true, I don't "throw the baby out with the bath water". If I unsubscribed from you because I disagreed with your belief on something, that would be a great loss for ME. Thanks for leading by example. Love, one of your most loyal bigots! P.S. Say hello to that goofy sidekick of yours (and Anton)! You guys make a great team.

    Konstantin awayes frames his arguments or statements in such an intelligent way. I wish I had that ability.

    I just listened to Monica's interview with Benjamin Klutsey. Very impressive. From a stodgy old white guy that loves freedom, individuality and conservative values - I wish you luck and will give you support whenever I can. Much love.

    Freedom Of Speech by its very nature requires a willingness to be offended and perhaps made angry. Sadly today, claiming to be offended and hurt by words and ideas has become an excuse to limit varying views of others to placate the large crop of misfits attempting to change the world,

    He is so right about Ukraine and the tendency of one party just to be against the other party.
    The issue is the parties lost their heart and soul, their values, their beliefs.
    So it just becomes a power struggle.
    That being sad, there is just one party at the moment that loves USA, and one that absolutely hates it.
    And you know which is which.

    Thank you!!! It is these conversations that help us all to fight back. One of the most harmful things I hear being pushed on kids, is equating free speech with hate speech. Nothing could be further from the truth.
    Also have to mention what a huge fan I am of Triggernometry. From the first time I watched, I was hooked! Going on 3 years now. A great example of Konstantin's comedic genius is this bit at Comedy Unleashed, th-cam.com/video/HthF7dsRufU/w-d-xo.html. Absolutely priceless 😅

    When the actual "real world" (rather than the fantasy world between your own ears) somehow "triggers" you - and when "other people's opinions" that dare "differ" from your own opinions also - "trigger" you - well, you're clearly in for a rather long bumpy ride through life.

    Scotland is a sort of separate state from England and the their parliament is currently (TODAY) tying themselves in knots over woke trans laws, I suspect it is the ruling party trying to virtue signal rather than Scots being particularly in favour of trans-rights more than the English - although, I think there is a swerve towards voicing woke tendencies in Scotland outside parliament just to appear anti-English.

    • @theinngu5560
      @theinngu5560 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sadly many people in Scotland motivated by historical hate ….their ignorance in not being able to let go of things that happen to other people in the past, means they build up grudges and end up harming themselves and if in power, many more.

    16:50 "clear and present danger"
    From Wikipedia: "Clear and present danger was a doctrine adopted by the Supreme Court of the United States to determine under what circumstances limits can be placed on First Amendment freedoms of speech, press, or assembly. The test was replaced in 1969 with Brandenburg v. Ohio's "imminent lawless action" test."

    Another reason there's been pushback against gender ideology in the UK is the ability to debate, share info & organize on Mumsnet, one of the very few social media platforms in the world that is primarily used by women, many of them mothers. Also, under Theresa May, the Tory Party proposed going to a system where people could change their legal sex just by self-ID, & in 2018 there was a public consultation on the proposal. A huge number of people, largely women, responded to the consultation, pointing out all the harms self ID would bring. The Tories then shelved the proposal.

    So Singapore adopted and kept the penal code of the UK since its voluntary withdrawal from Malaya in 1957.
    Being raised in the UK I was not aware people could report me for insulting them?
    Perhaps the UK's penal law has progressed since then?
    Singapore, not so much?

    Don't know about isolationism. I live in NZ and it's full on woke here......... "transwomen are women". Our official community sports body has just ruled that transwomen can participate in female sports

      I think it's to do with Constitutional Monarchies. It's a means a retaining the aristocracy in place as a cultural force. There's a deep ingrained cynicism of the political.

      I'm in Canada and there has been a LOT of comparisons made between Trudeau and Arden. They really are two pea's in a pod. We have a sporting body, Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport, that fully supports tans-women competing against women. And their funding comes from the gov't of course.
      We also have very similar restrictions being made against our farmers, which will result in farms being sold off to corporations. Along with very similar covid restrictions and mandates.
      We really feel your pain.

    Late to the party, but slight pushback: I don't believe Trump would have been as hard on the vaccine and mask mandates. He would have encouraged people to wear them, but not as hard as democrats who insisted on children too while the science didn't support it.

    Reactionary is a good term. However there are reactionarys who will go too far and people who are just tired of constantly being nudged in one direction. We have a politicstest here in switzerland and i also thoght i was a reactonary right winger until i discovered that im just a conservativ being tired of left liberal and right to constantly demand change

    KK, 'Terrible' as in Ivan, doesn't mean terrible as in bad at things .... it does mean 'fearsome' as you say they say in Russia. As an Englishman I do read Terrible actually quite a bit like 'Ivan the Terrorist'. I suspect the meaning of the word 'terrible' has been downgraded from 'terrorist' to 'crap' over the last 300 years..... Apart from in Ivan's nickname.

    • @Hesthedaddy
      @Hesthedaddy 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No they don’t, and I don’t agree with him that it is an acceptable word in the UK. Some comedians in the UK use it now, but for most people it is a taboo word, and only used in extremis. I personally find it jarring when I hear it, and never use it.

    • @nancybartley4610
      @nancybartley4610 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Hesthedaddy Thank you. At the risk of being called a prude, I have discomfort with the breakdown of our language. On the other hand my belief in the importance of free speech forces me to accept what I consider inappropriate language. It would be interesting to look at the pros and cons of this specific component of free speech. I am an atheist so it has nothing to do with God.
