I enjoyed seeing you show how the setup really was quick. A real person doing a real setup in 1 minute. Sometimes it is hard to believe the manufacturers videos!
+Gene Kulp I noticed she didn't throw two of the side latches (only did one on each side) to finish the set up but yeah, it goes up quickly. Ruth's 5'2" and the Chalet is small enough to allow her to pop it up on her own, which she has done on a camping trip, so that's a real advantage. We recently got a much bigger Aliner and she can't get it up on her own without something to stand on and the set up takes another couple minutes but nothing major. The Aliner has a bathroom and side by side beds and weighs considerably more. We've replaced flooring areas on each trailer. They tend to leak when stored, over time, unless stored under shelter.
We have. Still have the TJ. Have upgraded the Chalet to a bigger model, pulled behind a bigger vehicle. Because of the short wheelbase, the TJ has the oomph to pull trailers in a straight line but you worry about the tail wagging the dog (too much following mechanical advantage going around corners in the rain with not enough wheel to wheel torque in the Jeep) but yeah. this type of lightweight, smallish pop-up follow behind the Jeep okay for short trips in controlled environments. Just have to be aware of loading limits.
Great job! The bunkbed style is pure genius. I was wondering why Chalet did not offer a bunkbed style for young families. If you get a chance, now that it has been awhile, how is it working out, and what have you changed?
Is it watertight? That's a clever idea to do bunkbeds like that. Do you have to be plugged into mains for the AC to work or do you run a generator or solar or something?
We've owned a few pop-ups. The hard sided ones we've owned were better in the rain than the canvas (obviously) and kept us dry but "water-tight?" no. Anything that folds up and down is eventually going to leak somewhere when popped up but everything's a compromise. A/C is 115V A/C and requires shore power.
+Connie Waite I believe they do, Connie. I think it's the Classic LTW now. There's a video on a 2014 on TH-cam. th-cam.com/video/ze0fVWwOQs4/w-d-xo.html
Katie Neves lhi, interesting, because, I don't understand the difference between the accent... Is it Mabie because I am European? Yes greetings from.. Venezia
@@luigialkouraichi4933 The accent differences are definitely easier to spot if you are from here. I haven't learned enough Italian to know the difference in a Roma vs. Milano vs. Napoli accent.
We have almost the same camper I love our little A-frame what a great idea that you put an extra bed in
Watching Ruth easily push it out of the garage was great. I never realized A-frames are so light.

That is cool and it does not look like its cramped in the trailer.
Ruth you totally rock!

Pequeña pero esta muy chulaaa. 👍👏👏
that is beautiful
How difficult is it to undo the setup? I see a lot of videos about how quick and easy it is but never the opposite.
I have one and it’s even easier to take down then put up!
Do you ever pull this with your Wrangler Jeep?
Easier to take down than to put up. Especially this particular Chalet.
I want one!!
they still make the ltw? thats the one I like

My husband and I are having a debate. He thinks you are from Minnesota. I say you are Southern. You say "around" like I do and I'm from Arkansas.
