- z fold 6 1 week later, battery life and how it all goes.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 - Galaxy Z Fold 6 was an incremental update over z fold 5 and people don't like the cover display of z fold 6.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 - Samsung did change the design on z fold 6. Bt the cover display is something they still need to work on. No doubt, it looks realy good with a squared design but its taller compare to other foldables and people want much wider cover display on z fold 6. Overall it is a small update over features but a big update with a new design on z fold 6.

I have the 4 and 6. The 6 feels wayyyyy better
Feels great.. the best way I get way extra battery life is turn on power save game performance profile to light. Last I put all apps into deep sleep except the apps I use, such as messanger tiktok Instagram and the app I do use a lot.

@@DKHDOfficial I have the 4 and 6 and the opinions of everyday people are completely different to the TH-cam reviewers that I've seen. This phone was completely worth the upgrade.

I find the negative reviews so inaccurate to how this phone is. I mean you can listen to these so called experts or just get one. I've got one and I absolutely love it. It's not going to beam Netflix on your wall but the upgrades on this phone externally and internally in terms of performance are great. It's a brilliant step up for samsung. These Reviewers are really harsh imo and by the looks of it, are not of the same opinion of the everyday people that actually own it.

What ppl are looking for is 24 ultra specs and larger size and an built in s-pin.....to want more is okay and i get it but maybe they can't do it with the foldables yet without a downside or maybe if they give us so much ppl would get bored and want more advanced things.....but i love my fold 6

@PHIVonG92 These days, people get bored easily, and their also looking at the price hike and demand more from it. A foldable/tablet with high-end specs i mean it's not the latest specs, buttttt a foldable/tablet is definitely gonna cost.
You are forgetting the price. The phone can be great. The price is not justifiable at 1900$
I've used the Fold 4 for two years now and it's time to upgrade. I loved the phone, though I would say that it didn't hold up very well to rigorous WORK use, and I don't mistreat my devices. The inside screen protector started coming off 18 months into ownership and the inside screen started showing hairline cracks about 21 months in. The hinge held up well, and I didn't have problems with dust, though I used it outdoors a lot. I love the foldable form factor. The main thing holding me back at the moment is the terrible camera on these. Samsung is really blowing it there at the $2000+ price point.
I've had all folds and been loyal since the beginning. I've also had zero issues with any of them. Common acknowledgement, even from this video, is that the screen is not wider from F5. I've had my F6 for about a week now, and right away the screen looked and felt bigger. Navigating through how i normally would on F5 to F6, i found myself miss typing/miss hitting keys. Screen is definitely bigger, not by much but enough for me having to relearn key locations. Not regretting upgrading, I thought I would. There's enough changes to say I'm happy with the switch

@@ProTest808 thank you…I didn’t think that actually needed to be explained because it’s so obvious. All the improvements they made to the phone but foldable phones still will not be perfected for some time. Ppl just sitting here thinking that it’s easy to just put a bunch of great software, different specs and etc together. Some things don’t work together and have to be fixed or worked around. That’s why some things with new phones vs old phones stays the same because they couldn’t really change it but ppl are to small minded to understand this
Well, the phone is still very sturdy. I don't know what you would put it through to break it but it's not regular daily use

I almost bought into the hype and pre order deals FOMO. Once I had a calm head I realized there wasn't enough to make me make the jump. Software seems to be the major highlight.

I just got mine 3 days ago.. and so far it awesome.. it really is how you handle stuff.. basically take good care of your stuff and it will last longer.

Why is everyone comparing the folding phone to the S 24U. They aren't the same phone, never was.
Its because a lot of people have an older phone and are deciding between the two. Im in that boat coming from an s21+

Samsung doesn't want their foldable to take sales from it's Ultra line. I wish they invested in both equally and let us decided which is best for us. A foldable with Ultra technology would be the best phone in the world.

Glad I didn't trade for the z fold 6 for only $300, I got close to 6.5 hrs. So I'm happy.

If we see a good launch on W25. It may launch together with Q7, you have to understand the caution here, its complete different for Galaxy, the form of it is unfamiliar. We are testing
Ive had the phone a few days now i had a flip 3 wich held up great but i found it died all the time to be expected with how small the battery is in it yet still love that phone. Now with the fold 6 the battery is amazing my phone doesn't live on charge wich is cool i find i try to make excuses to open the phone and use that big screen thats hidden back there the camera is great stability control is also a great feature the speaker is loud for a phone

I got the z fold 5 and biggest temptation with the z fold 6 is they finally have some dust resistance rating compared to previous z folds. all the pre order deals are "done" but with Rakuten they currently have 15% cash back going on and the pre order deals appear to be still in play as of 7/27/24
I traded my Z Fold 5 back in to Verizon for the Z Fold 6 since I just got the 5 less than a month before the 6 released. Figured I'd go with the latest and newest Fold. There's definitely parts I miss about my 5, but both are fantastic phones. I definitely agree with people that say it's not entirely worth the upgrade, but there's things I do love more about my 6.

@DarkKnight-q2d i upgraded from fold 5 to fold 6, just the fact that my fold 5 already had alot of wear and tear, so a new phone with awesome discounts, got it for 400 with trade in thru samsung
I did experience the middle line damage from the protector from my Fold 3 and 4; and I had to trade it in for 24U. Didn't look back to the fold line.
To have that high price range, I think a lot of people will demand at least same screen size and camera as 24U, and minimum 5600 mAh.
If its not feasible, then just gonna stick with candy bar Ultra line.

It's a better looking Z Fold 3. They all are. You can tell the processing power and A.I. features makes it a better experience. The front screen is the same pretty much I'll upload videos to so people can see for themselves
Came so close to buying this but somebody made the decision very simple... buy a Z Fold 6... or... buy an S24 Ultra AND a Tab S9 Ultra for the same price... seems a no brainer.
You can't fold S9 ultra and go outside. That's why it's expensive. İt's practical. But you won't understand the difference. Keep count pennies for both devices 😂
@BSTTechca Love how everybody online instantly defaults to throwing insults, rather than just an opinion. It's fine, I'll save my money for something more useful because I'm aware that a 7.6" screen isn't a practical replacement for a tablet or laptop.
Dude, then check the S9 Ultra reviews or iPad reviews. No need to insult Z Fold 6 owners. You can't just say it seems like a no-brainer. Even Bill Gates uses this phone; you can also tweet him your ideas. Have a nice day.
@BSTTechca Difference is, mine wasn't an insult. It was just an opinion and that I decided not to buy. I didn't insult anybody for choosing the Fold 6 or any other foldable for that matter.

Though i thought i wud never buy any fold after my fold 4 got a black inner screen after no fault of mine,
But i cud not make any swtich
Cause i was spoilt with folds rich offering, since i use phone for my work, for designing and editing, u just cant go for any other phone
But to my shock
The fold 6 just improved all the short comings
That is cover screen
It is much more usable, I'm typing all this from the fronr screen
And the square form factor makes all the diff
Especially with typing,
Now the only thing is durability which only time will tell
For that i just brought two years of Samsung care
All hppy for this phone

If samsung really brings down the price ans free service this can easily beat any phone
If you drop it once and it lands on the hinge your phone it's done. Samsungs cases don't cover the spine!
I am willing to shell out extra bucks if galaxy fold give us the S-Pen with the Samsung galaxy s24 ultra camera .
I am using the 13pro max sierra blue ,my phone is still pretty good and performs well in every field ,I thought to upgrade my phone to something better but iPhone is still same boring with nothing much of an upgraded version ,thought for the z fold 6 but I am stuck here as it only has a bigger screen when unfolded and nothing better then my iPhone13pro max.i would love to watch videos and movies on fold though but it has large black bars on top and bottom ,and I guess it’s not worth the money 😢

I honestly would not want a thinner phone than the 6. The 6 feels so thin Unfolded that I'm afraid I'm gonna break it. Haha. Had to order some cases from Amazon that give the 6 a more bulky feel. Like the Unicorn Beetle Pro case from Supcase which I used on my Fold 5 and which I loved.
Can't be a killer without Android and full Google support.

Same. I don't know why people keep wanting the fold to be as wide as regular phones. The narrower display is better for one haded use given its weight.

@@jasonelliot9633 to me it's like best of both worlds. haha. when closed, easy to use with one hand. I don't want to always use both hands whenever I hold my phone. Then you have the big screen for other uses/two-hand use. So personally, and as a foldable user, I prefer it this way. I don't think it's nonsense at all :)
@@nckadp3120 that is nonsense very much if I can use a 6.8 inch screen with one hand then you sure the hell can use a wider outer display on a folding phone I like big screens and when I'm out I like to use the outer display and Samsungs is way to narrow I feel like people are laughing at me with that small girly display I hate it

The Z fold 6 in a screen went defective on me in less than a week first time I had that issue.
Defective how? If you are talking about the screen protector. I had that issue with the flip 3 and removed the screen protector and it was fine for several years. But supposedly that voids the warranty.
@@siasd5757 just regularly using the phone at my desk and it flicker went off. Then when I push the button to wake the phone up one side of the screen as a figuring green tent and now it's a green line right down the center.... Samsung made me buy the phone again so now I'm waiting on the new one to arrive so I can send defective one back and get a refund on that one. CRAZY
Man a z fold ultra would be like 2500 probably. Very annoying. Just give us a 7.5 or 8 OLED tablet phone.

You have to be careful taking the front case cover off. You pull and it can tear at the mid fold. So one side will go dead.
Just be gentle with it.

Biggest drawback is battery and eye soring crease.
For battery I would say they need to update. But crease is something you used to it over time.

I had fold 3 4 5 and now 6 crease is similar to fold 3 not much improvements. And over a period of time it's getting deeper which looks very very awkward.
Had my fold 6 for 2 days now and my battery drains much faster than my fold 5.
Will learn a usage pattern and will be normal after a week or so
Just give us a mini tab, Samsung. I don't want your overpriced folding fragility.

I think consumers are fairly stupid. These foldable phones are basically disposable devices. Think about it. How long do you think it’s going to last? After thousands of times(if you’re lucky) folding these things it’s going to fail. This is a dumb concept, unless you’re the seller…
I've had Fold 3 4 5 and then the 6 and never had a single issue. Traded the 6 in for the s24 Ultra just for a change and I'm on my 2nd phone already. First one went faulty in the first week. Second ones got the same problem. Any phone can break.
I've had the fold 3 since launch now without any problems at all.. how long do you use your phones before getting a new one?
