Tbh a Swiss f18 would also double as a cas aircraft Edit: also they could fix this by making a few additions, the su22m4s could get tv bombs or tv kh23s which would give more options and the tornado could get the brimstone missile which would make them much more viable.

It's actually crazy how after all these years Gaijin still hasn't added any mid tier SPAA's for the US, especially since there is a ton of them that can be added to fill that huge 4.0-7.7 gap.
@@gp33music41 Yeah that's very true. The USSR however arguably has planes that are just as good for CAS at those BR's, if not better, but they also have some of the best SPAA's. I know russian bias is a bit of a meme at this point but it very often seems real.
@@brunobegic3841 Russian planes at that BR range for CAS? Bruh, most russian fighters either don't carry a load or carry fairly light loads. If you want some CAS, you need to go for attackers and bombers. Which, no surprise, they're slow and sluggish. This is why i use that premium P-47 in the soviet tree. Because, even without the HVARs, those bombs are more than enough. Plus, the P-47 can also be used as a normal fighter after the CAS has been done. Even though it's just as much as a brick as an IL-2, it is much faster than the IL-2. So, russian planes are more specialised for their roles, especially in the BR range that you said. Americans are more like jack of all trades, which allows them to be both CAS and anti-CAS.
@@alexmaximus9134 I don't know man. Things like the TISMA, ITP, Su-8 and Yak-9's with the 45mm can be pretty devastating in the right hands. Sure their bomb loads are either weak or non existent but those cannons are nasty. They may not be as consistent as something like a Corsair or a Bearcat but I generally find them more fun to play as CAS. The only real issue is the fact that most of them are premiums, and not nearly as cheap as an F2G for example.

Otomatic need to go down to 10.7 BR ! we have 2s38 with proximity shells at 10.0 and the 2S6 with 10KM range missiles at 10.7 why not the otomatic too ? And the tor-M1 needs thermals, its very hard to see targerts too far without locking the radar
Another argument is just give the OTO full ammo capacity. It's mainly so high due to it's AP shell being 300mm pen, but you only get 12. If it stayed at it's BR and was given the option to carry half HE-VT and half AP then it would deserve it's BR. 29 shell ready rack, that's a lot of AP to be slinging when you're spawn is being rushed.
Italy, Sweden and Japan don't have a tech tree heavy tank either. For Japan and Italy it's a bit difficult to find such a thing, although the premium Tigers for each exist, and now also the King Tiger for Sweden, but Sweden could very easily have a heavy tank in the line-up in the form of a Finnish captured KV-1, and although not a heavy tank, a Finnish captured ISU-152.
@@FXIIBeaver No, actually the only thing the flarakrad has over the panstir is the maximum overload. the 95Ya6 is faster, has almost double the range, a larger warhead, a larger proximity trigger and it's stock. the Panstir get more missiles, all of which are ready to fire unlike the long reload cycle on the flarakrad, better radar and it gets autocannons for targets too close to fire missiles at. the VT1 is also a tier 4 modification. it's an absolute joke that they are the same BR.

America needs more vehicles hauling aa trailers for their low tier battles. People would have lots of fun with a jeep towing around a polston or oerlikon 20mm aa trailer
USA has a solutions for a 20mm AAA without involving trailers T10E1, essentially the TCM-20 but american and WWII T85, quad 20mm on a modified chaffee chassis and to fill the gap between the duster and vads -T247, a bigass rotary gun -T100, a quad .60 cal with radar ranging

very nice to hear you mention about the italian coastal, funnily enough I am one ship ahead of you in terms of both spaded and bought coastal vessels for itally which is kinda funny. We've been trying to complete the italian coastal stuff on stream this last month and it's quite a painful experience. Not as bad as the british coastal. The fairmiles have nice guns but they get two shot by 20mm at the very least. I was so happy when I finally spaded the british coastal tree. The main difference between the two though is that italy doesn't really have much to go for. The Albatros is nice and look forward to playing it but the saetta... Although it has those nice netuno missiles it's still a 4.7 pt boat, meaning every game will pretty much be heavily cruiser focussed. 5 inch gun destroyers are a pain to deal with for coastal frigates, let alone having to deal with cruisers too
Italy and Israel needs another Sub Tree. Israel could get Chile as suggested on the forums. Since they use a lot of Israeli Technology. And Italy could get The Swiss and/or Romania as a 2nd Subtree alongside Hungary.

Along with a bunch of half-tracks and armored cars that they modified with whatever guns were available. So yes, a Rank 1 for Israel woudl be possible.
Israel still being the only nation that can’t use scout drones is quite insane. I don’t see why they haven’t added something yet, even if it isn’t the Eitan or the Namer experimental IFV
I can tell its been a while since you touched the Leclercs. They all have the same exact mediocre rounds. The mobility is functionally the same across the board with a power to weight difference of about +/- 1 horse. The protection differences are essentially in appearance only and rarely actually do anything to help you All 4 Leclercs could be foldered at rank 7 but theyre not, simply for Gaijin to save face about the French tree neglect
part of the neglect is also just that france isn't prolific in vehicles to fill some of the gaps in part for example because of sheer bull-headedness in not playing with stabilisation (France has no stabilised guns between the Shermans and Leclercs, amx-30 super doesn't count as it's a premium), but also just a general lack of vehicles that could be fielded as equivalents to other countries it's not without solution, but if for example snail corp decide to add the VBCI, it only has a 25mm chain gun, virtually the same as the Bradley's, which taking into example the PBV 501 could see it show up at ~7.0, but then you have the issue it's the only thing France has at that specific BR, everything else is 6.7 or 7.7 for a high br autocanon, france could have the AMX-10 TTB140, which could be called a rough equivalent to the Strf 9040B, so 9.7 (if it get access to the same ammo, else it's💀) and at least there it has a bit of a lineup with the AMX-40 and Roland, but beyond that???? the Jaguar? a lot of it's characteristics are still very fuzzy to the public afaik (and the gun fires very slow) everything else i can think off would mostly be padding for already filled BRs, maybe a radar 20mm SPAAG to be put between the AMX-10P and the AMX-30 DCA but that's about it
@@quentintin1 Well there's already precedent for things we know little about to be added to the game, 2S38 and Challenger 3 for example. So there's nothing wrong with adding the Jaguar. There's also multiple VBCI variants to consider and not only the 25MM one(which should still be added). Plus a modernized AMX-10RC that would be stabilized and provide other goodies with it. I've seen viable tank suggestions on the forum that could be added between the AMX40 and Leclercs but I dont recall off the top of my head. In any case, all of this just means that France is in dire need of a sub-tree to fill gaps. I dont agree with the BeNeLux being added to France, but its not like my opinion matters to gaijin and it would definitely help
@@LionQuietalso about the leclercs: there is a leclerc prototype with, if i remember correctly, 140mm gun, and that is different enough from other ones. Also also i think there were export models that could go to lower br's cus' they were worse. Also also also - french went crazy with jet prototypes and some serie aircrafts and we dont really have most of those in game. Also x4 there isn't a lot of french french tanks on some br's on which there could be - there were at least early amx13 prototypes and 3 or 4 amx elc variants
@@quentintin1 Hard disagree, VBCIs, Vextras, Leclerc prototypes, the other AMX-40 models, stabilized AMX-10 prototypes, Panhard Sphynx (the proposal competitor to the Jaguar) There's actually quite a few lower-ranking vehicles that could go below 11.7, as France is a pretty major producer (2nd largest in the world) and has actually toyed with adding Stabilizers to basically everything, most of which weren't thought of as necessary, but they have indeed been made
germany also just needs more 7.0-7.7 in general. There are only 2 7.7 tanks if you dont count premiums. So making a loadout for 7.0-7.7 is very hard since you have 1 medium tank and 1 light tank (non premium) and thats it. If they were to allow us to get the tiger 2 105 or panther 2 again it would probably fix the issues
In the near future Germany is going to have a massive gap in terms of top tier jets. Specifically Fox-3 platforms. They can really only get two planes, the F-4F KWS/ICE or the Eurofighter. The Eurofighter is going to come December of this year at the very earliest and will be like 13.0 or whatever, it's way ahead of anything in the game right now. And the upgraded phantom isn't going to be that great. Yes it has AMRAAMs, but it'll still be an F-4 fighting 4th gen fighters. The MiG-29G is solid but it never had any Fox-3s. That leaves a big gap between it and the F-4F ICE and the first Eurofighter.
I’ve been hoping for a Swiss f18 to come, my idea on how it could go is that they give the f18 to the US this patch and Germany gets the f4fICE just so they’re included in the fox 3 update the next patch Germany gets the Swiss f18. They could however always add the irsit test variant of the typhoon to Germany where they just give it aim9ls or something and it can rely on flight performance more before the actual variants come in

Right now playing France 11.7. 1) I feel like France could do with a better round to make up for the having no armour 2) Anti radiation missiles to mix up anti air who I feel are too strong right now
It would be really nice to see some light tanks in the Israeli tree, I love the Merkhava but as long as the grind is as bad as it is, I don’t think I’ll grind the tree in a rush.
I hope they add namer and eitan for israel ASAP. They need it and would be a pretry nice addition. Imagine a eitan with a sabra 120 turret (feeling like the patria) and the namer with a spike and 30mm would be pretty fun to play. I think a a buff to MK4's turret and those vehicles would bring israel backup to life.
Before watching the video, I'll add my thoughts on what I would like to see for the nations I play. For Germany, we already have a lot of Bf109s available, but I feel that some key variants are omitted, and the inclusion of certain ones but not others seems incomplete. The recent addition of the Bf109C-1 was welcome. I'd love to see the Bf109D-3 added as an optional foldered vehicle with it. This is another Jumo 210 powered 109, but has 20mm cannons mounted in the wing. I would suggest an RB battle rating of 2.0. The inclusion of trop variants for the Bf109 seems inconsistent. I would like to see this rectified. We have both the F-4 and F-4/Trop, but we have a tech tree G-2/Trop and not a standard G-2. The G-6/Trop and any trop Emils are also missing. There is a small jump from the G-6 at 4.7 to the G-14 at 5.3, missing 5.0. A late production G-6 could fill this gap (the G-6 went through a lot of changes in its production, I'm sure one configuration that works for 5.0 could be found). AS variants should be considered The Bf109T would make a good event vehicle. Sweden has a Ju86, it's a German aircraft. Germany should have one too. Folder it with the He111H-3. The do17Z-7 is a niche vehicle. Adding the Z-10 with a radar would be decent if Gaijin ever wanted to implement proper air rb night battles. There are a lot of Me262 variants missing. V-8 prototype for a pure bomber variant. Put it before the Ar234 in the tech tree. The A-1a/U5 which carries an extra pair of Mk108s The A-2a/U1, similar to the standard A-2a except it has a bomb sight. The B-1a trainer, with guns retained (not all had them removed), and the ability to carry bombs. The B-1a/U2 two seat night fighter, which could carry bombs. Ar240 for the zerstorer line. various Me210 variants - though this niche is well covered with the more successful Me410. Fw190D-15 torpedo bomber For the ground stuff, an SPAA between the Wirbelwind and Ostwind II! Germany seems to have a ton of unavailable or premium light tank variants. Bring some over to the tech tree. Bring back Maus.
Italian coastal can be very well reinforced by Romanian and Hungarian gunboats + there are few Italian-built Romanian destroyers, which will help bluewater tree a lot (one of them is already presented in the game as captured ship in the Soviet line - Letuchiy). For ground it badly needs 2A7HU and Romanian SA-8B (OSA-AKM), other than that just Italian additions all other brs, especially more medium tanks/mbts. Air line needs premiums and Aermacchi jets.
Germany: Top tier CAS plane that also features AGMs to deal with Pantsir and Puma VJTF (with spike) to have a teach tree top tier light tank at 10.7 that can be put in a line up with a down tiered Leooard 2A5 and planes like the Su-22 or the F-4F. And maybe later they can also add wiesel with spikes and Boxer Skyranger at the same br to create a good lineup at 10.7/11.0 Italy: Italy urgently needs top tier air defence. And even if Draco doesn't have guided missiles but also a gun, the radar-guided DART ammunition could still mean a significant leap in capability. Depending on how well they can turn in the air. Italy also needs at least one more vehicle at 11.7. You could mention the Leopard 2A7 HU or the Leopard 2A8 ordered by Italy, but the real selling point and the reason why I started playing Italy in the first place are the Centauro wheeled armoured vehicles. That's why I would like to see the B2 Centauro as a new vehicle first and foremost. Japan: To be honest, getting Japan to 11.0 was a much more painful grind than with Germany or even Italy, although it was much faster due to the small number of vehicles. They desperately need a sub tree, ideally South Korea to increase the line ups and for low tier they really need a good allrounder tank that beginners have enough fun with so that they continue to play the tech tree and don't switch to another nation totally annoyed
Lahat missiles and fragmentation mortar shells for the merkava (all merkavas are currently underarmed relative to reality), two versions of the m-50 (one with a continental engine, one with Cummings engine), xf5u, avenger missile system (8 stingers on a hummer with a .50 cal), I don't know what else, haven't played war thunder in a while.
When youre talking about germany, youre talking about the exact sections of the tech tree I got stuck at /am stuck at. My only Jet is the 262 Pulkzerstörer (attacker) and Is not even something id consider taking into Air RB.
One of the reasons why nobody plays the Skink, despite of how many people wanted it, is mainly because people envisioned it to be in the US tech tree to fill that SPAA gap. Instead it was given to GB which already has a good ammount of AA, atleast compared to US.
For soviet air tree also, they are missing good CAS planes at 6.7. it used to be larger gap from 6.0 to 7.7 but the addition of Su-9 made the gap bit smaller
For Japan high tier, moving the Type 90 from 11.0 to 10.3 or 10.7 would help it a lot. The main battle tanks go from Type 74 E/F at 9.0 to 11.0. There is no 10 at all for Japan and when you're playing the other vehicles (the Type 16s at 9.3 and Type 93) you're going to be uptiered 90% of the time because the 10.3 prem spam. The Type 74s at 9.0 can't fight at 10.3 when thermals and better optics exist, its basically just a dead weight and outclassed by literally every vehicle.

As a German main here's my take on them. 1. As mentioned 6.7 - 7.7 gap - Why? if you don't have the removed 7.0 tanks or the 7.3 premiums all you get is the kugel at 7.0 and the Weisel at 7.3 If you use only one of these 2 vehicles you are a detriment to your team if you get a full down tier because you are uptiering the people on your team and will have no meaningful impact 99% of the time. 2. Needs actual good top tier CAS planes. Usually, its Germany vs USSR and USA for me 99% of the time so you get creamed by air and have no one playing air besides the hunter at 9.7 and even that doesn't compare to the A-10 and SU-25k at 10.0. 3. No tanks in the BR area of 10.7 to 11.3 - No the one death leaving PL players don't count as mentioned above I usually get put against USA and USSR together at 10.3 so if you get uptiered you hope for the one death leaving PL players but your mostly screwed either way. 4. More premium and TT vehicles in the 10.0 and 10.3 area - As mentioned above again getting put against USA and USSR together is insane as both nations get large lineups of good vehicles that you can buy (USSR) and buy and still get strong vehicles in the TT (USA). Germany on the other hand gets 1 10.3 premium, 1 10.3 MBT and 2 light vehicles at 10.0. This results in most people 1 death leaving in the panzer battalion and your team gets screwed. Giving them a 10.0 premium would at least make it so the premium players can buy multiple vehicles and hopefully not one death leave anymore (or at least make it so they don't have that excuse). Thats how I would flesh out the German TT based on my experiences at playing Germany.
As a Japan main, if I were to chose a single vehicle to be added, it would be the Komatsu CCV (which actually got passed to the devs this month (again)). Not only would it be an overall fun vehicle and likely very effective, playing like an RCV on steroids, it would greatly help Japan's high tier AA capabilities, providing a different approach from the Type 93 and Type 81
the biggest problem with great Britain is the inconsistency of apds at like 7.7 area, the tanks are put at their br's because of the apds rounds they get, but those rounds feel so broken to the point i feel like im playing world of tanks with the rng of them.
Definitely more AA. And bigger rewards for shooting down planes. Planes cost more to spawn in, and have the potential to swing the game around, yet you a couple hundred SL and negligible RP for shooting one down despite actually shooting one down being hard (if the cas player doesn't decide to suicide by running straight at you)
German and ussr introduction to jets can be somewhat better by adding Aero L-29 Delfín (3,6k made) and Aero L-39 Albatros (2,9k made) jet trainer/light attack maybe like 5.3br for L-29 and 6.0 for L-39 they are not as "good" as strikemaster on paper plus they could be also added to Italy via hungary and China and tons of skins can be made for them becouse lots of nations used them
Hopefully they add some heavy tanks to Sweden, although neither Sweden or Finland ever produced any heavy tanks. it would be cool if they added somthing like the prototype of the Project Emil.
The problem with the French rank 1 line up is that they really can’t add anything much better than what they already have. With the addition of Benelux the French are going to get either more pre-war French tanks, or very early war exports from the US/Britain. The US tanks might have better 37mm guns but that’s about it.

How about if the BR is a variable depending on the mods? The set BR is for a fully spaded vehicle but if you uninstall certain key mods (for example a premium ammo) then you play it at a lower BR. It would give the vehicles more range is filling lineups.
just grinded for the F8U2 on the US side. My god... the pain of running the Demon with no flares vs russians with R-60M's... Almost like a late 50's/early 60's aircraft vs modern missiles is alittle bit unbalanced... Also the damn SU-25 pretty much have better engine performance as well with only the top speed capped

Germany had really nice 7.0-7.3-7.7 lineup before Leo, Marders and m48's went up to 8.0 Now Wiesel and Kugel are in the weird spot, where they cannot be filled in 8.0 lineups because Gepard simply exists and they are uptier to 6.7 ww2 vehicles. Same for Japanes Type 81 (c) it started 10.3 i guess went to 11.0 and now is 11.3. Idk it makes my 11.0 lineup to fight against top tier all the time. Make it 11.0 or just straight up to 11.7. Type 87 rcv (p) is also standalone 7.7. There is many more examples but i often think about those. Also we need sub tree for Japan
For ussr I feel like we need atleast a light tank like the a upgraded version of the bmd4 maybe the bmpt terminator either the first gen terminator or the second gen or maybe the k17 bumerang either whit his 30mm canon or whit the AU-220m 57mm canon could be something that could work at top tier because that's what atleast from my perspective what ussr/russia miss rn
12:50 Japan irl has pretty much zero CAS options in terms of guided munitions. Because their doctrine in the event of an invasion is ‘JASDF and JMSDF sink most of their ships and JASDF shoot down most of their planes. Anything that gets through the JGSDF mops up with relative ease. There’s simply no reason for Japan to have Air to ground munitions
I recently started naval, specifically Japan, worst decision I've ever made. Japan Bluewater is probably fun but the coastal has been so absolutely annoying that I've been tempted to quit, weather it be the fact that you just die very easily or that your guns just do nothing due to there firerate being to low, my nemesis so far have been from the German floating platforms, the albatross for Italy, the pg-09 and the British motor boats with the rapid fire 40mms. America hasn't been that bad as they're guns ever overpen and do nothing or they just tickles the crew, I think the biggest issue with coastal is the massive jump from these fast moving small calibre motor boats to going against these huge frigate type large caliber beasts that just delomish you in 1 shot (atleast for Japan) idk about Britain and stuff but so far it was torture

I would like to see Japan get a strike aircraft to use that's rank 3 or higher. They just have the Ki109 at rank 2. Every CAS aircraft they have is classified as a naval bomber in game. I'd be nice to see one that could be classified as a strike aircraft.
My Main issue as a German main, also is mostly the BR of the 262s. Like, America got its early jets a whole BR lower, so i dont see the reason why the 262s have to be that high in BR, beccause they are littarly 5 years behind in Jet development. Another problem i have is, that germany if the only Nation that didnt got its unique Attilary, WHERE THE HECK IS MY BELOVED PZH.2000 ??? But i also play a lot of france and the lack of AA always bothered me. France also needs some more Light tanks in my opinion and Tankdestroyer at low tier. Like, there is plenty of Interwar and WW1 Tankdestroyer-Like tanks that would fit into the game.
The 262s are the same BRs as the American starter jets (7.0). Germany actually gets the 6.0 He-162 and 6.3 Ho 229, with the only American counterpart being the extremely rare P-59A which has the performance of a prop plane
list of stuff i want to point out: - no american light tank between the chaffee on 3.7 and the hellcat on 6.0, one could argue taking chaffee up until 5.7 is doable, but it feels kinda cheap - same thing but even worse with Germany, where until 6.7 you get no light tank outside of the Puma, although i dont have any idea if they even have anything to fill the gap sadly - German gap between 3.7/4.3 into 5.7 (5.0 isnt really a lineup), especially bad when you look at the jump between a 3.3 panzer III into the Tiger at 5.7; people wonder why german players are so bad, and the explanation is this ridiculous br jump, which forces a relatively new player into midtier where they have no idea how to play against their potential enemies, aggravated by no knowledge on how to build lineups (brs in this area overall look very weird, with no tanks on 4.3 besides the jagdpanzers and the sturer emil). Again, the problem is hard to fix due to no vehicles that entered service in german military, however seeing the VK being added, there is some wiggle room with some prototypes they designed)

Actually there's one thing about China that bugs me a lot. The lack of camouflage. Every pre-cold war tank has only two, the standard green and a winter one and also one that you just have to pay SL for. When I compare it to Germany where everything gets like 4 camos for summer maps only it is just ridiculous. China doesn't even get a desert camo for Christ's sake. Yeah.

Another problem that Israel has is that a lot of its tanks that are cert similar and are at the same BR. The Israeli 8.0 lineup has 7 different tanks in it, only counting medium tanks, with the 4 magachs being pretty similar to each other.

@@brunobegic3841 Russian planes at that BR range for CAS? Bruh, most russian fighters either don't carry a load or carry fairly light loads. If you want some CAS, you need to go for attackers and bombers. Which, no surprise, they're slow and sluggish. This is why i use that premium P-47 in the soviet tree. Because, even without the HVARs, those bombs are more than enough. Plus, the P-47 can also be used as a normal fighter after the CAS has been done. Even though it's just as much as a brick as an IL-2, it is much faster than the IL-2. So, russian planes are more specialised for their roles, especially in the BR range that you said. Americans are more like jack of all trades, which allows them to be both CAS and anti-CAS.
@@alexmaximus9134 I don't know man. Things like the TISMA, ITP, Su-8 and Yak-9's with the 45mm can be pretty devastating in the right hands. Sure their bomb loads are either weak or non existent but those cannons are nasty. They may not be as consistent as something like a Corsair or a Bearcat but I generally find them more fun to play as CAS.
The only real issue is the fact that most of them are premiums, and not nearly as cheap as an F2G for example.

Another argument is just give the OTO full ammo capacity. It's mainly so high due to it's AP shell being 300mm pen, but you only get 12. If it stayed at it's BR and was given the option to carry half HE-VT and half AP then it would deserve it's BR. 29 shell ready rack, that's a lot of AP to be slinging when you're spawn is being rushed.

Italy, Sweden and Japan don't have a tech tree heavy tank either. For Japan and Italy it's a bit difficult to find such a thing, although the premium Tigers for each exist, and now also the King Tiger for Sweden, but Sweden could very easily have a heavy tank in the line-up in the form of a Finnish captured KV-1, and although not a heavy tank, a Finnish captured ISU-152.

@@FXIIBeaver No, actually the only thing the flarakrad has over the panstir is the maximum overload. the 95Ya6 is faster, has almost double the range, a larger warhead, a larger proximity trigger and it's stock. the Panstir get more missiles, all of which are ready to fire unlike the long reload cycle on the flarakrad, better radar and it gets autocannons for targets too close to fire missiles at. the VT1 is also a tier 4 modification. it's an absolute joke that they are the same BR.

very nice to hear you mention about the italian coastal, funnily enough I am one ship ahead of you in terms of both spaded and bought coastal vessels for itally which is kinda funny. We've been trying to complete the italian coastal stuff on stream this last month and it's quite a painful experience. Not as bad as the british coastal. The fairmiles have nice guns but they get two shot by 20mm at the very least. I was so happy when I finally spaded the british coastal tree. The main difference between the two though is that italy doesn't really have much to go for. The Albatros is nice and look forward to playing it but the saetta... Although it has those nice netuno missiles it's still a 4.7 pt boat, meaning every game will pretty much be heavily cruiser focussed. 5 inch gun destroyers are a pain to deal with for coastal frigates, let alone having to deal with cruisers too

Along with a bunch of half-tracks and armored cars that they modified with whatever guns were available. So yes, a Rank 1 for Israel woudl be possible.

They all have the same exact mediocre rounds. The mobility is functionally the same across the board with a power to weight difference of about +/- 1 horse. The protection differences are essentially in appearance only and rarely actually do anything to help you
All 4 Leclercs could be foldered at rank 7 but theyre not, simply for Gaijin to save face about the French tree neglect
part of the neglect is also just that france isn't prolific in vehicles to fill some of the gaps
in part for example because of sheer bull-headedness in not playing with stabilisation (France has no stabilised guns between the Shermans and Leclercs, amx-30 super doesn't count as it's a premium), but also just a general lack of vehicles that could be fielded as equivalents to other countries
it's not without solution, but if for example snail corp decide to add the VBCI, it only has a 25mm chain gun, virtually the same as the Bradley's, which taking into example the PBV 501 could see it show up at ~7.0, but then you have the issue it's the only thing France has at that specific BR, everything else is 6.7 or 7.7
for a high br autocanon, france could have the AMX-10 TTB140, which could be called a rough equivalent to the Strf 9040B, so 9.7 (if it get access to the same ammo, else it's💀) and at least there it has a bit of a lineup with the AMX-40 and Roland, but beyond that???? the Jaguar? a lot of it's characteristics are still very fuzzy to the public afaik (and the gun fires very slow)
everything else i can think off would mostly be padding for already filled BRs, maybe a radar 20mm SPAAG to be put between the AMX-10P and the AMX-30 DCA but that's about it
@@quentintin1 Well there's already precedent for things we know little about to be added to the game, 2S38 and Challenger 3 for example. So there's nothing wrong with adding the Jaguar. There's also multiple VBCI variants to consider and not only the 25MM one(which should still be added). Plus a modernized AMX-10RC that would be stabilized and provide other goodies with it. I've seen viable tank suggestions on the forum that could be added between the AMX40 and Leclercs but I dont recall off the top of my head.
In any case, all of this just means that France is in dire need of a sub-tree to fill gaps. I dont agree with the BeNeLux being added to France, but its not like my opinion matters to gaijin and it would definitely help

Also also i think there were export models that could go to lower br's cus' they were worse. Also also also - french went crazy with jet prototypes and some serie aircrafts and we dont really have most of those in game. Also x4 there isn't a lot of french french tanks on some br's on which there could be - there were at least early amx13 prototypes and 3 or 4 amx elc variants
@@quentintin1 Hard disagree, VBCIs, Vextras, Leclerc prototypes, the other AMX-40 models, stabilized AMX-10 prototypes, Panhard Sphynx (the proposal competitor to the Jaguar) There's actually quite a few lower-ranking vehicles that could go below 11.7, as France is a pretty major producer (2nd largest in the world) and has actually toyed with adding Stabilizers to basically everything, most of which weren't thought of as necessary, but they have indeed been made

So making a loadout for 7.0-7.7 is very hard since you have 1 medium tank and 1 light tank (non premium) and thats it. If they were to allow us to get the tiger 2 105 or panther 2 again it would probably fix the issues

What each nation needs right now is a pantsir
In the near future Germany is going to have a massive gap in terms of top tier jets. Specifically Fox-3 platforms. They can really only get two planes, the F-4F KWS/ICE or the Eurofighter. The Eurofighter is going to come December of this year at the very earliest and will be like 13.0 or whatever, it's way ahead of anything in the game right now. And the upgraded phantom isn't going to be that great. Yes it has AMRAAMs, but it'll still be an F-4 fighting 4th gen fighters. The MiG-29G is solid but it never had any Fox-3s. That leaves a big gap between it and the F-4F ICE and the first Eurofighter.
I’ve been hoping for a Swiss f18 to come, my idea on how it could go is that they give the f18 to the US this patch and Germany gets the f4fICE just so they’re included in the fox 3 update the next patch Germany gets the Swiss f18. They could however always add the irsit test variant of the typhoon to Germany where they just give it aim9ls or something and it can rely on flight performance more before the actual variants come in

It would be really nice to see some light tanks in the Israeli tree, I love the Merkhava but as long as the grind is as bad as it is, I don’t think I’ll grind the tree in a rush.
I hope they add namer and eitan for israel ASAP. They need it and would be a pretry nice addition. Imagine a eitan with a sabra 120 turret (feeling like the patria) and the namer with a spike and 30mm would be pretty fun to play. I think a a buff to MK4's turret and those vehicles would bring israel backup to life.
Before watching the video, I'll add my thoughts on what I would like to see for the nations I play.
For Germany, we already have a lot of Bf109s available, but I feel that some key variants are omitted, and the inclusion of certain ones but not others seems incomplete.
The recent addition of the Bf109C-1 was welcome. I'd love to see the Bf109D-3 added as an optional foldered vehicle with it. This is another Jumo 210 powered 109, but has 20mm cannons mounted in the wing. I would suggest an RB battle rating of 2.0.
The inclusion of trop variants for the Bf109 seems inconsistent. I would like to see this rectified. We have both the F-4 and F-4/Trop, but we have a tech tree G-2/Trop and not a standard G-2. The G-6/Trop and any trop Emils are also missing.
There is a small jump from the G-6 at 4.7 to the G-14 at 5.3, missing 5.0. A late production G-6 could fill this gap (the G-6 went through a lot of changes in its production, I'm sure one configuration that works for 5.0 could be found).
AS variants should be considered
The Bf109T would make a good event vehicle.
Sweden has a Ju86, it's a German aircraft. Germany should have one too. Folder it with the He111H-3.
The do17Z-7 is a niche vehicle. Adding the Z-10 with a radar would be decent if Gaijin ever wanted to implement proper air rb night battles.
There are a lot of Me262 variants missing.
V-8 prototype for a pure bomber variant. Put it before the Ar234 in the tech tree.
The A-1a/U5 which carries an extra pair of Mk108s
The A-2a/U1, similar to the standard A-2a except it has a bomb sight.
The B-1a trainer, with guns retained (not all had them removed), and the ability to carry bombs.
The B-1a/U2 two seat night fighter, which could carry bombs.
Ar240 for the zerstorer line.
various Me210 variants - though this niche is well covered with the more successful Me410.

For the ground stuff, an SPAA between the Wirbelwind and Ostwind II!

Italian coastal can be very well reinforced by Romanian and Hungarian gunboats + there are few Italian-built Romanian destroyers, which will help bluewater tree a lot (one of them is already presented in the game as captured ship in the Soviet line - Letuchiy).
For ground it badly needs 2A7HU and Romanian SA-8B (OSA-AKM), other than that just Italian additions all other brs, especially more medium tanks/mbts.
Air line needs premiums and Aermacchi jets.
I still live to see a Yugo tree. Sherman with the 122mm gonna be wild
Germany:
Top tier CAS plane that also features AGMs to deal with Pantsir and Puma VJTF (with spike) to have a teach tree top tier light tank at 10.7 that can be put in a line up with a down tiered Leooard 2A5 and planes like the Su-22 or the F-4F. And maybe later they can also add wiesel with spikes and Boxer Skyranger at the same br to create a good lineup at 10.7/11.0
Italy:
Italy urgently needs top tier air defence. And even if Draco doesn't have guided missiles but also a gun, the radar-guided DART ammunition could still mean a significant leap in capability. Depending on how well they can turn in the air.
Italy also needs at least one more vehicle at 11.7. You could mention the Leopard 2A7 HU or the Leopard 2A8 ordered by Italy, but the real selling point and the reason why I started playing Italy in the first place are the Centauro wheeled armoured vehicles. That's why I would like to see the B2 Centauro as a new vehicle first and foremost.
Japan:
To be honest, getting Japan to 11.0 was a much more painful grind than with Germany or even Italy, although it was much faster due to the small number of vehicles. They desperately need a sub tree, ideally South Korea to increase the line ups and for low tier they really need a good allrounder tank that beginners have enough fun with so that they continue to play the tech tree and don't switch to another nation totally annoyed
I 100% agree brits need potent lights at top tier. 9,3 or 9,5 rooikat vmf5 sonething is the closest thing to a potent light

Lahat missiles and fragmentation mortar shells for the merkava (all merkavas are currently underarmed relative to reality), two versions of the m-50 (one with a continental engine, one with Cummings engine), xf5u, avenger missile system (8 stingers on a hummer with a .50 cal), I don't know what else, haven't played war thunder in a while.
When youre talking about germany, youre talking about the exact sections of the tech tree I got stuck at /am stuck at. My only Jet is the 262 Pulkzerstörer (attacker) and Is not even something id consider taking into Air RB.
One of the reasons why nobody plays the Skink, despite of how many people wanted it, is mainly because people envisioned it to be in the US tech tree to fill that SPAA gap. Instead it was given to GB which already has a good ammount of AA, atleast compared to US.
For soviet air tree also, they are missing good CAS planes at 6.7. it used to be larger gap from 6.0 to 7.7 but the addition of Su-9 made the gap bit smaller
For Japan high tier, moving the Type 90 from 11.0 to 10.3 or 10.7 would help it a lot. The main battle tanks go from Type 74 E/F at 9.0 to 11.0. There is no 10 at all for Japan and when you're playing the other vehicles (the Type 16s at 9.3 and Type 93) you're going to be uptiered 90% of the time because the 10.3 prem spam. The Type 74s at 9.0 can't fight at 10.3 when thermals and better optics exist, its basically just a dead weight and outclassed by literally every vehicle.
Japan has problems but its 11.0 lineup is not one of them.

As a German main here's my take on them.
1. As mentioned 6.7 - 7.7 gap - Why? if you don't have the removed 7.0 tanks or the 7.3 premiums all you get is the kugel at 7.0 and the Weisel at 7.3 If you use only one of these 2 vehicles you are a detriment to your team if you get a full down tier because you are uptiering the people on your team and will have no meaningful impact 99% of the time.
2. Needs actual good top tier CAS planes. Usually, its Germany vs USSR and USA for me 99% of the time so you get creamed by air and have no one playing air besides the hunter at 9.7 and even that doesn't compare to the A-10 and SU-25k at 10.0.
3. No tanks in the BR area of 10.7 to 11.3 - No the one death leaving PL players don't count as mentioned above I usually get put against USA and USSR together at 10.3 so if you get uptiered you hope for the one death leaving PL players but your mostly screwed either way.
4. More premium and TT vehicles in the 10.0 and 10.3 area - As mentioned above again getting put against USA and USSR together is insane as both nations get large lineups of good vehicles that you can buy (USSR) and buy and still get strong vehicles in the TT (USA). Germany on the other hand gets 1 10.3 premium, 1 10.3 MBT and 2 light vehicles at 10.0. This results in most people 1 death leaving in the panzer battalion and your team gets screwed. Giving them a 10.0 premium would at least make it so the premium players can buy multiple vehicles and hopefully not one death leave anymore (or at least make it so they don't have that excuse).
Thats how I would flesh out the German TT based on my experiences at playing Germany.
As a Japan main, if I were to chose a single vehicle to be added, it would be the Komatsu CCV (which actually got passed to the devs this month (again)). Not only would it be an overall fun vehicle and likely very effective, playing like an RCV on steroids, it would greatly help Japan's high tier AA capabilities, providing a different approach from the Type 93 and Type 81
the biggest problem with great Britain is the inconsistency of apds at like 7.7 area, the tanks are put at their br's because of the apds rounds they get, but those rounds feel so broken to the point i feel like im playing world of tanks with the rng of them.

Funnily enough, i think the best Rank 1 japanese ground vehicle is the Ta-Se.
Definitely more AA. And bigger rewards for shooting down planes. Planes cost more to spawn in, and have the potential to swing the game around, yet you a couple hundred SL and negligible RP for shooting one down despite actually shooting one down being hard (if the cas player doesn't decide to suicide by running straight at you)
German and ussr introduction to jets can be somewhat better by adding Aero L-29 Delfín (3,6k made) and Aero L-39 Albatros (2,9k made) jet trainer/light attack maybe like 5.3br for L-29 and 6.0 for L-39 they are not as "good" as strikemaster on paper plus they could be also added to Italy via hungary and China and tons of skins can be made for them becouse lots of nations used them
Germany has like 4 good spaa at the br that America still only has a dual bofors which are okay at best.
Hopefully they add some heavy tanks to Sweden, although neither Sweden or Finland ever produced any heavy tanks. it would be cool if they added somthing like the prototype of the Project Emil.

The problem with the French rank 1 line up is that they really can’t add anything much better than what they already have. With the addition of Benelux the French are going to get either more pre-war French tanks, or very early war exports from the US/Britain. The US tanks might have better 37mm guns but that’s about it.

How about if the BR is a variable depending on the mods? The set BR is for a fully spaded vehicle but if you uninstall certain key mods (for example a premium ammo) then you play it at a lower BR. It would give the vehicles more range is filling lineups.
1,7 UK fighter aircraft. Bristol 146 easily fills the gap. Then the fulmar
just grinded for the F8U2 on the US side. My god... the pain of running the Demon with no flares vs russians with R-60M's... Almost like a late 50's/early 60's aircraft vs modern missiles is alittle bit unbalanced... Also the damn SU-25 pretty much have better engine performance as well with only the top speed capped

I don't undersantd some holes after br decompression. Germany had really nice 7.0-7.3-7.7 lineup before Leo, Marders and m48's went up to 8.0 Now Wiesel and Kugel are in the weird spot, where they cannot be filled in 8.0 lineups because Gepard simply exists and they are uptier to 6.7 ww2 vehicles. Same for Japanes Type 81 (c) it started 10.3 i guess went to 11.0 and now is 11.3. Idk it makes my 11.0 lineup to fight against top tier all the time. Make it 11.0 or just straight up to 11.7. Type 87 rcv (p) is also standalone 7.7. There is many more examples but i often think about those. Also we need sub tree for Japan
For ussr I feel like we need atleast a light tank like the a upgraded version of the bmd4 maybe the bmpt terminator either the first gen terminator or the second gen or maybe the k17 bumerang either whit his 30mm canon or whit the AU-220m 57mm canon could be something that could work at top tier because that's what atleast from my perspective what ussr/russia miss rn
2A7 is worse since the leo2 damage model update than the PSO or A6.

Japan irl has pretty much zero CAS options in terms of guided munitions.
Because their doctrine in the event of an invasion is ‘JASDF and JMSDF sink most of their ships and JASDF shoot down most of their planes. Anything that gets through the JGSDF mops up with relative ease.
There’s simply no reason for Japan to have Air to ground munitions

I recently started naval, specifically Japan, worst decision I've ever made.
Japan Bluewater is probably fun but the coastal has been so absolutely annoying that I've been tempted to quit, weather it be the fact that you just die very easily or that your guns just do nothing due to there firerate being to low, my nemesis so far have been from the German floating platforms, the albatross for Italy, the pg-09 and the British motor boats with the rapid fire 40mms.
America hasn't been that bad as they're guns ever overpen and do nothing or they just tickles the crew, I think the biggest issue with coastal is the massive jump from these fast moving small calibre motor boats to going against these huge frigate type large caliber beasts that just delomish you in 1 shot (atleast for Japan) idk about Britain and stuff but so far it was torture
I wish there were more heavy tanks at lower BRs. There are barely any heavy tanks that can effectively utilise their armour in battle

I want Stinger's to work correctly, the M247 to get ammunition it can actually defend itself with again, and a single update where Russia doesn't get something, especially not another MBT.
I would like to see Japan get a strike aircraft to use that's rank 3 or higher. They just have the Ki109 at rank 2. Every CAS aircraft they have is classified as a naval bomber in game. I'd be nice to see one that could be classified as a strike aircraft.

My Main issue as a German main, also is mostly the BR of the 262s. Like, America got its early jets a whole BR lower, so i dont see the reason why the 262s have to be that high in BR, beccause they are littarly 5 years behind in Jet development. Another problem i have is, that germany if the only Nation that didnt got its unique Attilary, WHERE THE HECK IS MY BELOVED PZH.2000 ???
But i also play a lot of france and the lack of AA always bothered me. France also needs some more Light tanks in my opinion and Tankdestroyer at low tier. Like, there is plenty of Interwar and WW1 Tankdestroyer-Like tanks that would fit into the game.

The 262s are the same BRs as the American starter jets (7.0). Germany actually gets the 6.0 He-162 and 6.3 Ho 229, with the only American counterpart being the extremely rare P-59A which has the performance of a prop plane
list of stuff i want to point out:
- no american light tank between the chaffee on 3.7 and the hellcat on 6.0, one could argue taking chaffee up until 5.7 is doable, but it feels kinda cheap
- same thing but even worse with Germany, where until 6.7 you get no light tank outside of the Puma, although i dont have any idea if they even have anything to fill the gap sadly
- German gap between 3.7/4.3 into 5.7 (5.0 isnt really a lineup), especially bad when you look at the jump between a 3.3 panzer III into the Tiger at 5.7; people wonder why german players are so bad, and the explanation is this ridiculous br jump, which forces a relatively new player into midtier where they have no idea how to play against their potential enemies, aggravated by no knowledge on how to build lineups (brs in this area overall look very weird, with no tanks on 4.3 besides the jagdpanzers and the sturer emil). Again, the problem is hard to fix due to no vehicles that entered service in german military, however seeing the VK being added, there is some wiggle room with some prototypes they designed)

Actually there's one thing about China that bugs me a lot. The lack of camouflage. Every pre-cold war tank has only two, the standard green and a winter one and also one that you just have to pay SL for. When I compare it to Germany where everything gets like 4 camos for summer maps only it is just ridiculous. China doesn't even get a desert camo for Christ's sake. Yeah.

Another problem that Israel has is that a lot of its tanks that are cert similar and are at the same BR. The Israeli 8.0 lineup has 7 different tanks in it, only counting medium tanks, with the 4 magachs being pretty similar to each other.
