I have many things to say but I'll just keep it to the essentials lol
First of all, those transitions were so good I thought you literally sent your camera through the floor.
Second of all, I like the way you do all these projects. One step at a time, all thought out and planned. Like you mentioned, going in with the intent of full destruction just makes a huge mess and can have risks sometimes.
Third point is that I do agree with you when you say that as you're doing these projects your brain is thinking of a bunch of different things at once and trying to figure out future plans and also current plans but also other options at the same time but then while all that is happening you're thinking of what you're currently doing which then fries your brain. I've been there with some bigger car projects I've done. That's when I have to stop myself and take a step back lol
And last but not least, as always, I learned something new and this was an awesome, entertaining, fun, and interesting video to watch. Somehow I even had time to watch it start to finish with no interruptions (dad life lol, I'm sure you're familiar).
So keep up the good work and I can't wait to see the future videos on this project. I'm kind of excited for that cast iron pipe removal video. Not sure why. But I am.

    • @TheFixerHomeRepair
      @TheFixerHomeRepair  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Oh man! Thank you!
Yeah I could see how car projects could be just like this and make your head spin. So many factors! I am impressed you got to watch the entire thing with no interruptions haha
And... the transition... I am really happy with the way it came out. Actually have been wanting to use it for a while but needed the right video. Finally got to do it! 😁👍. Thanks for being an awesome and loyal subscriber! Stay tuned for the stink pipe removal! 😁

Very nice comment. It was kind & thoughtful of you to share your insights. Explaining how you relate to the mental chaos involved in solving a complex, multi faceted puzzle of a problem. You guys remind me of my Dad, he always stayed busy. Into his 80's he fixed tools, repaired cars & did reno projects. He said, care for your health, use your mind & body, you'll stay smart & young. If you get lazy, you'll get fat & loose your intelligence. If you sit still too long you'll start to rust like an old car.

It's not rambling! Too many of these videos show what people are doing but they don't explain WHY they are doing certain things, like putting support in before taking support from another area!! You always explain and very well!
Helped my parents with their house years ago and one of the prior owners had taken alot of necessary support out and created all kinds of problems to fix!! And we won't even talk about the shoddy overloaded wiring! 😲

    • @TheFixerHomeRepair

That is reassuring to hear! Thank you! Yeah you never know what you are getting into when you start opening up walls and ceilings in a house. It gets interesting really quick and sometimes scary. But you can always fix it. There is always a way! Thanks for watching!

One of the best builder videos of the internet. I saw it pop up and I had to make time to watch it.
As a woman who always do everything herself I love watching you work. Your explaining is on point. I love watching you rambling because that's how I understand why you do something the way you do it.
I commented in other videos but I love how clean you work. You are not smashing just fir the sake of making sensation. No dirt, no mess.

Excellent video. Don't worry about rambling, the longish explanations, or too much detail. This is all good. You are meeting your goal as stated on the sign in the room - making good videos. I saw the guitar hanging in the room. I'm a guitar player too.

Great to hear, Jim! I am not by any means a great guitar player but I mess around with it every now and again. Thanks for checking out this video!
