  • Welcome to my review of Fate/Stay Night! Fate/Stay Night is a visual novel that was originally developed and published by Type-Moon in 2004. It has seen several re-releases over the years, most notably, Fate/Stay Night Realta Nua, which was released in 2012 on the PlayStation Vita. The most recent re-release celebrated the Fate franchise's 20th anniversary with Fate/Stay Night Remastered on August 8th, 2024, which was released on the Nintendo Switch and PC, marking the first time that the game has ever had an official English translation. It was localized and published by Aniplex who have licensed pretty much all of the other Fate anime adaptions. I read it on the Nintendo Switch. I have become a big fan of the Fate franchise over the past few years, starting with the 2006 Fate anime adaption by Studio Deen, which largely adapts the Fate route from the visual novel, but goes in its own direction near the end, combing aspects from Unlimited Blade Works and Heaven's Feel as well. After seeing most of what the franchise has to offer, I finally went back and read the original visual novel and as it stands, is my game of the year, despite it being a twenty year old game. The visual novel is an absolute masterpiece and I recommend it to everyone who enjoys mystery, suspense, and battles. There are no spoilers in this video except for some character names because the main goal is to get other people, mainly my subscribers to read Fate/Stay Night. It has my highest recommendation. My next review will be on Astro Bot. Talk about a change in pace. xD Thanks for watching, let me know your thoughts in the comments down below, and have a great day!

congrats for finish the OG FSN..
tsukihime got M rating because there is more gruesome CG like mutilation or body dismemberment..
Heaven feels route is about shiro fight his ideal for his own selfish reason to save someone dear to him..
then you can say the "XES" only intertwine in heaven feels route..
and also, ufotbale actually make the ending animation for "avalon" but only viewable when on expo...

Thanks Ryan. It was so good!
Yes, I have seen some of those scenes with Arcueid. While not as gruesome as Tsukihime, FSN still gets pretty dark, especially during Heaven's Feel, so I was surprised that it didn't get an M rating.
Oh man, I will have to see if I can find it online. I'm sure someone recorded it.

@@nuke7138 You should watch it because the video is as spoiler free as possible, while trying to explain the plot, characters, etc. Yes, a visual novel is my game of the year. The story is so good. I strongly recommend all of the Fate anime adaptations as well.
