I have the earlier version and am considering upgrading to this version. My big question is whether these new buttons are more responsive ie less clicky/stiff than the last version. I’m having trouble slide cancelling and reload cancelling fast enough with how stiff they are. Love that you respond to every comment!
@@CalAndAly I haven’t had the opportunity to test out their other version so I won’t be able to compare them. What I can say is the decade kit back buttons are extremely easy to use. After a few hours of gaming, my fingers aren’t strained and still feels easy to use. The back paddles will definitely step up your gameplay.
Honestly, fantastic video. My son and I got the kit, he has 2 controllers I thought 1 was after market, and the other was an original PS4 controller. We tried to follow the video but there were so many differences. main one was there was no expansion connection for the 20 pin connection the wraps around the battery, so we used we ended up using parts from both controllers, the after market controller had the expansion connection, but was incompatible for the Decade case, so I had to alter it, then I al was going so well till I had to connect the strip, it was on the other side and couldn't reach. So gutted, money and time wasted. Great video though. Not sure if I have a genuine controller now as it was so very different to yours.
Hey, I am glad you enjoyed the video. All PS4 controllers are built the same world wide. From what you are telling me, I don’t think your controllers are original, very strange that a lot of parts aren’t the same.
I was worried about it at first but the controller is actually comfortable to use. You can still have a firm grip on the controller and also use the paddles when needed. If you aren’t used to using paddled controllers then it might take some time to get used to.

Hello, the back buttons on the Decade kit are easy to use and comfortable. The scuf back buttons are also very good. If you have larger hands then you will feel comfortable using the decade kit. If you have smaller hands you might not feel comfortable using the decade kit.
Any tips about the soldering part? Never soldered before and I was thinking of getting the equipment only to build that controller. How about the back paddles in your opinion? The lower ones lookes good but the upper ones looks a bit small.
Are you going to want to remap the L3 and R3 buttons to the paddles ? Most people will never remap those buttons so you can skip over that section. Soldering isn’t hard but for your first time it might be a bit nerve racking. The back paddles are pretty good, I actually feel more comfortable using the top smaller paddles but then again it depends how big your hands are.

@@JallyBeez Alright. The soldering iron that I have only have one temperature setting. It basically plugs into the wall and heats up. Follow the steps that I show in the video, you don’t need much solder to make the connection. I would suggest watching a tutorial video for beginners on soldering and practice first. Ask me as many questions as you want, more than happy to help.

Hey, so you will need to take apart the controller again in order to change the thumb sticks. They aren’t able to pop off while the controller is assembled.

I have streakpack but believe it or not I don't have or use PC to fix it.I just use the paddles(3buttons at 1 paddle)& about recoil isn't working for me.Cuz if I fix it for 1weapon then it goes down to other weapons with no big recoil&all the other mods aren't helpful at my games.Andromeda/Anthem/GhostReconWildlands.

i’m pretty tech savvy, waste of money. Buy paddle attachments, unless you want cool art or want a cool project (which i did) functionality and process is just absolutely dog water but i guess you should expect that when paying 30 bucks for something. At least my kit came with everything, wonder why he skipped over so many little trinkets where he was connecting, disconnecting, etc. Product isn’t worth the money and neither is their “esports ready” controller.
@@VonMish glad you enjoyed the video. These kits are all about personal preference and saving money. For the price it’s a pretty good diy kit but not many people are wanting to take apart a controller so in that case a paddle attachment would be best.
@@goblack3661 the option and share buttons stay permanently fixed to the middle assembly. The parts that get swapped onto the new shell are the D-pad, ps button and circle, triangle, square, cross buttons. The top back buttons are installed in the same manner as the button back buttons. I have rewatched the video and all the steps are well explained.
So about this paddles my opinion nobody is playing with it.Cuz they prefer ps4 controller with cronusmax/streakpack/lag switch & all those shit's.I hope 1day Sony will kick out all those shit's &then let's see who is pro-player& who is 100%NOOB.Cuz I know 100s of people with very low KDR back at 2014/15 & now they became elite players unfortunately.Cuz every little sh** with low self esteem play now with 1 of he's 10or20 account's.(like a pro with programs or mods;)
I know this has nothing to do with this video but can u help me with setting up the Strike Pack Eliminator for my xbox one? I managed to adjust the recoil fine but whenever i shoot it feels like the sensitivity is like super high and it makes me shoot at their legs😵😫
No worries, I’m always happy to help. Have you tried updating your strikepack to the latest firmware and then reapplying the mods ? Sometimes updating will help eliminate little bugs like that.

The 4 paddles don't affect your grip too much ? It must be hard to hold the controller properly and to be comfortable with that

Yes, you most likely tightened the screws too tight. Try to loosen them a bit and retest the buttons.

You are able to remap the paddles on a console and pc if you can get the controller working for pc gaming.

how has the rubber on the back held up, id prefer no rubber but as long as its not that cheap stuff that rots after 2 years its fine.
It’s still in good condition. Nothing is peeling or ripping apart.

Yes you do. You will only have the headphone port.

You will have to open the controller up and see if everything is connected correctly.

The paddles are great to use. The mods need to be adjust to correctly work with the weapon that you are using.

@@VonMish glad you enjoyed the video. These kits are all about personal preference and saving money. For the price it’s a pretty good diy kit but not many people are wanting to take apart a controller so in that case a paddle attachment would be best.

@@goblack3661 the option and share buttons stay permanently fixed to the middle assembly. The parts that get swapped onto the new shell are the D-pad, ps button and circle, triangle, square, cross buttons. The top back buttons are installed in the same manner as the button back buttons. I have rewatched the video and all the steps are well explained.
So about this paddles my opinion nobody is playing with it.Cuz they prefer ps4 controller with cronusmax/streakpack/lag switch & all those shit's.I hope 1day Sony will kick out all those shit's &then let's see who is pro-player& who is 100%NOOB.Cuz I know 100s of people with very low KDR back at 2014/15 & now they became elite players unfortunately.Cuz every little sh** with low self esteem play now with 1 of he's 10or20 account's.(like a pro with programs or mods;)
I know this has nothing to do with this video but can u help me with setting up the Strike Pack Eliminator for my xbox one? I managed to adjust the recoil fine but whenever i shoot it feels like the sensitivity is like super high and it makes me shoot at their legs😵😫
No worries, I’m always happy to help. Have you tried updating your strikepack to the latest firmware and then reapplying the mods ? Sometimes updating will help eliminate little bugs like that.
@@FrankSparapani Yes well I just got the strike pack, downloaded and updated the firmware. So yeah I don't really know what to do at this point. Factory reset? Is that gonna help me u think?
@@RuatyOG You can always try a factory reset. Does this only happen when you use the anti recoil mod ?
@@FrankSparapani yes it does, and i paid for the subscription aswell. to get recoil horizontal and vertical but idk how.
@@RuatyOG If you want to use the mod central application you’ll just have to wait till they get it back up and running. Not too sure why it’s not working properly.
