- Ahead of his talk about The Beast at Brooklands, Duncan Pittaway fires it up with a little help from Julian Grimwade. Many thanks to Julian, Fiona and Tim for video content.
BMtv is part of Brooklands Museum www.brooklandsmuseum.com
This makes up for not being able to attend. Watched the talk on livestream and bathed in Duncan's sheer natural enthusiasm - without doubt in my opinion one of the most entertaining and thoroughly enjoyable talks held at Brooklands. Ps: a little Anglo Saxon seamlessly dropped in spiced it up nicely and reminded me of past times
What a character he is 👍
What a fantastic car. I've seen it many times on TH-cam or on tv but unfortunately not yet live and raw at the same space. Watching Duncan's talk on TH-cam was brilliant. This car knocks all other cars for 6, especially any so called "supercars". In fact, that term should be bettered for this car and this car alone, as it truly is a hypercar!!!
Wow this thing is so awesome!!!
Strobe lighting and all...fantastic!
Thank you Duncan. I'm reminded of Dante's 'Inferno' when I see the Beast fire up!
Infatti, là dentro c'è Lucifero che ne attizza personalmente le fiamme.
Just beautiful, I can't imagine anything better. Air fuel mixture can be verified by eye and ear.
An experience for which to aspire. Duncan Pittaway has the Crown Jewel of Fiat. I cannot think of a better custodian of the Beast.
Bravo!
She's idling beautifully, smooth as silk
Land Speed Record car, barbecue and bird-scarer all in one! 😁
Dear Roy Cousins
Yeah 👍👌👏 But don't forget shop heater. The beast also give at least some light and definitely a good light show.
Best regards, luck and health in particular.
How many gallons per mile does it get?
I am always amazed by the hand drafting of the bespoke mechanical parts before any calculators or computers. The same with the gears and engine performance for example, rod length, cam design, and lubrication, all by hand.
Would have looked really good on the Members banking.
One more piece of evidence that this thing will only behave in the presence of a sufficiently large mustache.
That thing is huge and I drive a Freestar which is anything but small.
Is it ULEZ compatible ?
Better than that, it's Greta agitatable.
It runs on used fry oil and a bit of gin.
@@scottmeeker9971 Bombay gin?
Possibly the greatest car ever, I love the beast!.
I'd love to see it in the flesh, and even more to ride shotgun in it. But seeing it makes me smile and be happy😁
Note to Mr Pittaway, have some T Shirts made up, cos I'd love one, and I'm surely not alone in that wish👍
Awesome, however what appeared to be giving the passenger 'hand relief' is unlikely to impress the judges, or was that one of the judges ?.
On me way to work, in my moggy minor, on a cold winter morning
This explains the dirty hands he was sporting.
The process of learning how to start this weapon must of been nerve wracking.
