Helsinki is situated 80 kilometres to the north of Tallinn, Estonia, 360 kilometres to the north of Riga, Latvia, 400 kilometres to the east of Stockholm, Sweden, and 300 kilometres to the west of Saint Petersburg, Russia.

By the way, that's a statue of Alexander II in the middle of Senate Square in front of the Helsinki Cathedral. He was a Russian czar who actually did some good for the people before he died and russification started.
