    Upholstery in today’s vehicles is remarkably durable. Even after being abused with ground in filth they can be scrubbed vigorously and extracted to regain their near original condition.

    Well done, I did notice the hose of the machine when you first went to use the extractor had a lot of dirt in it from the previous use left inside of it, and the machine has a self-cleaning feature. I also detail vehicles and the only thing that is different is i tip the seat over and do the back first then i do the seat base, and i use LA's Totally Awesome to clean the seats because it is all natural and it does just good of a job but there is no chemicals in it, so i think it is safer to use, but that is just my opinion. I enjoyed the video and was surprised at how similar we work.

    I was wondering why you were not using the pump spray and steamer I've seen in other videos. Thought it was a far gone conclusion I had to get a pump spray and a steamer. Glad I saw this video showing how this process can be done without going all out $$$ on the tools needs. My wallet thanks you!

    2wks ago i got my Bissell and man its awesome! I so prefer it to my wet-vac/vacuum (Numatic George). That thing will only be getting used as a vacuum from now on. Besides the clean water leaks from the hose connector at the machine (since day one). I like it but the Bissell is so much easier to use and i cant forget parts of it. i sometimes do forget the fresh water tank from the Numatic George and lose time traveling back home to get it (so frustrating). Cheers Josh XD

      @@22sanch I got the Bissel spot clean pet pro. Is now an older machine and harder to get but Bissell brought out one called Bissell Little Green Pet Pro that is very similar. So far it's still holding up well. I have taken very good care of it as when i originally bought it it was around $300. Now this style machine is far more affordable and i still love it. Have done over 300 cars so far and still going.😁

    Another great video! Question. Why do you throw the water on the seat when using the Bissell? Why not just use it to vacuum out the product? Also, after you have thrown the water, why use a microfibre cloth to wipe it out? Why not just make another pass with the Bissell without the water?

    Great results, good job. If you do run a detailing business keep in mind how strong you dilute your products. I rarely go over 10:1. For best results pre spray the seats and let is sit for 20 min. It does a massive difference. Going 1:1 is just a waist of product in my mind, dough that arm rest was a disaster

    • @362scuba5
      @362scuba5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am a detailer and have used a variety of different cleaners. In my experience, Super Clean is the best cleaner on the market. It cuts through the toughest grease and grime and rinses..well...super clean...with no residue!
      My best results with it is diluting it 4 or 5:1 with distilled water (Important! I don't know exactly why but I've tested it against tap water and it just cleans better!)
      Definitely get a pump sprayer. It will save your hands and forearms plus will saturate what you are cleaning more effectively and produce better results!

    Night and day difference between using towels and an extractor. I get that you can remove dirt with them, but it's not even comparable. Superclean is probably really good stuff, but seriously, a DIY APC will get you 90% there with a cheap extractor like that spotclean pro.

      Was going to say shop vac 100% would suck more out it has way more water lift than any of these cheap cleaners’ all carpet cleaners unless u pay couple thousand dollars are all trash’
      The most important thing is sucking up what u put down’ put your hand over any consumer machine if barley sucks your skin can’t even hold a piece of paper’ now use your shop vac if will stay on your arm hanging’
      Pisses me off all consumer machines have such little suction’ if u don’t suck up dirt/ soap what was the point? U just gotta keep doing it over and over that’s prolly their plan so u have to buy more solution etc’
      Rug dr at 500 is a fn rip
      Off it is no better than an $80 shop vac it’s a joke they charge that much when even your push vacuum has more suction and a vacuum is what $100 or less? So consumer machines n general r a joke

      An extractor will not remove all the dirty liquid. Extracting it and wiping with a microfiber is how professionals extract seats or carpet.

    • @362scuba5
      @362scuba5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      When cleaning seats as neglected as these, you are removing the dirt in layers. The microfiber towel helps pull up all that dirt and grime that was just brought to the surface. Then repeat your steps of saturating, scrub into the fibers, and drill brush.
      THEN, use the extractor to pull the rest of the dirt and cleaning solution out of the surface. In essence, you are taking some of the work load out of an entry level extractor and will have undeniably better results!
