A don't know you are moving it faster by hand battery or foot like the ceramics using a circular plate....you are overlapping "solapando".

That machine my father taught to me but on manual. He Aldo taught to me how to draw in scale using a grid or " cuadricula " to make an accurate drawing or picture or painting or photo and even to change the scale.

Kinda of reminds me like the art on paper money. It looks like shading from afar but when you get close it’s a lot of lines kinda like Spirograph. Very cool

It's looks like a reuter or a plot sometimes I did mine.....anyway there were blue prints as a copy in the 80's the original drawings in black or black line or Sephia color like a brown antique look.
Anyway any blue color or blue print means the original and can not see it in a picture or a technique of photography. In photography the used , I don't know they still use a blu pencil colored blue write color blue. Is invisible to see in the process of the revealing of the picture or photo 📸
