Uldren heard the song while he was a puppet to release Riven, not Crow. This plays on the idea of people claiming to having memories of their "past lives".

If there are three siblings, and Savathun wants their power, then that means there are two to kill. They took the power from one, there is now Xivu Arath. We are currently fighting him, once he dies then Eris will take his power and deliver it to Savathun. She isn't Savathun, but she is working for her without a doubt.

Eris Morn is, canonically, the future Witch Queen from the timeline where the Darkness wins. The current timeline is the Guardians doing everything they can to change reality. Honestly, I don't know why the Exo Stranger didn't kill Eris ASAP to prevent the Witch Queen rising

Theory: in the dark future storybook, the reason Eris became the witch queen, is because she was able to become strong enough to REVERSE the effect of the song upon Savathun herself, allowing Eris to take control of her, and pretty much ALL of the hive. Eris’s will and darkness powers were too strong for savathune to take control and it backfired against her
In the Empress lore book, it is revealed that Savathûn was behind the destruction of Torobatl. She corrupted Umun'Arath, and she summoned Xivu Arath to Torobatl, starting the Hive invasion of the Cabal Homeworld.

@@theredpillneo2296 Eris Morn claims that the skull Shaxx has hanging over at his spot was giving him hallucinations, making him think he was hearing Eris. In the Traveler's Chosen lore tab, it confirms that Savathûn is indeed possessing the skull.
I know that Savathun’s song is literally written in the lore, and this does all piece together rather soundly, but this could also just be another instance of npcs enjoying destiny’s sick music. Keep in mind that Cayde would often hum Oryx’s theme when chillin out in the hanger pre Forsaken.
I love how much importance there is in music in this universe. Savathun’s Song is “viral”, Rasputin can controls machines with different “songs” and frequencies. Gives me real LotR vibes, love when universes are built with music.

I'm fascinated by the motif of Savathun's Song, and the tune of the darkness, throughout the soundtracks. Shadowkeep mixes Savathun's song in wonderfully with their action pieces, and it's so easy to overlook. The Darkness's theme literally interrupts some of the Beyond Light music.

Savathun isn't in control. Eris is much too strong for that. If anything, Eris controls Savathun. Oh, and all of the Nine, the mysterious entities working behind the scenes, are named after planets. Eris is the tenth planet in our solar system. There's more to her than we know. Not to mention her last name is a homophone of Mourn. And she's the Witch Queen in the Dark Future timeline the Exo Stranger escaped.

Not sure if you remember, but I think Crow said something about the Hive Cryptoliths emitting a sound that was stuck in his head. That could be how he knew the song, but that’s not really my point. Those Cryptoliths were able to control and empower almost anyone, so anyone that has heard that song could end up being controlled. Also, Osiris went near those Cryptoliths and heard the song with Sagira, who is now dead which might make him vulnerable to the song like the cabal and the fallen.
I don't know if anyone noticed, but there is an emblem under "Strikes" section called "Watcher from beyond". It has a circular symbol with dots on it, the same symbol is on Deep Six Gambit map on one of the buildings and it's connected to the Savathuns Song

Theory: in the dark future storybook, the reason Eris became the witch queen, is because she was able to become strong enough to REVERSE the effect of the song upon Savathun herself, allowing Eris to take control of her, and pretty much ALL of the hive. Eris’s will and darkness powers were too strong for savathune to take control and it backfired against her

I know that Savathun’s song is literally written in the lore, and this does all piece together rather soundly, but this could also just be another instance of npcs enjoying destiny’s sick music.
Keep in mind that Cayde would often hum Oryx’s theme when chillin out in the hanger pre Forsaken.

Let's be honest, The Stranger has been exposed to Savathun and Evil Eris so many times she's definitely heard this song across dozens of different timelines.
I'm fascinated by the motif of Savathun's Song, and the tune of the darkness, throughout the soundtracks. Shadowkeep mixes Savathun's song in wonderfully with their action pieces, and it's so easy to overlook. The Darkness's theme literally interrupts some of the Beyond Light music.

Savathun isn't in control. Eris is much too strong for that. If anything, Eris controls Savathun.
Oh, and all of the Nine, the mysterious entities working behind the scenes, are named after planets. Eris is the tenth planet in our solar system.
There's more to her than we know. Not to mention her last name is a homophone of Mourn. And she's the Witch Queen in the Dark Future timeline the Exo Stranger escaped.

Not sure if you remember, but I think Crow said something about the Hive Cryptoliths emitting a sound that was stuck in his head. That could be how he knew the song, but that’s not really my point. Those Cryptoliths were able to control and empower almost anyone, so anyone that has heard that song could end up being controlled. Also, Osiris went near those Cryptoliths and heard the song with Sagira, who is now dead which might make him vulnerable to the song like the cabal and the fallen.

I don't know if anyone noticed, but there is an emblem under "Strikes" section called "Watcher from beyond". It has a circular symbol with dots on it, the same symbol is on Deep Six Gambit map on one of the buildings and it's connected to the Savathuns Song
