As a biomedical engineer, the idea of a robot body is basically my biggest dream, but I feel that Clovis could have obtained immortality through the much more morally acceptable method of full-body genetic modification rather than robo-bodies. Theoretically you could just repair all the DNA in your body back to a earlier, healthier state and you should instantly de-age to whatever age the DNA quality is equivalent to. Great vid! Keep up the good work as always ❤️👍🏻
The anti-hungry pill on the video before this and the Gate on this one reminds me of the "Pig Lizard" Tim Allen was fighting in the movie Galaxy Quest and when they tested the teleporter the Pig Lizard got teleported, but came to the ship teleported inside out and exploded.
the entry with the portal reminds me of steins gate, where they try to also traverse through space and time, and end up as goop or 'jelly' as they called it
Wake up babe, new Byf video
Mad doesn't even begin to describe CB. Unfortunately, we have monsters like that in our modern world.
I'd like to see a raid along video for DSC. Maybe after you have done the raid lore video, since that would probably lessen the preparation time, could also be the other way round so that you have content while you work on the raid lore video.
If Bungie made it to where we can see the atrocities committed by Clovis Bray in game, Destiny 2 would most definitely be rated M...
Serious, I could listen to you reading car manuals, but yeah, DSC sure would be interesting
With all of the lore surrounding Clovis bray, I think you should make some videos about the revelation lore book and Kuang Xian’s journal from the shadowkeep collectors edition, unless I missed videos where you talked about that.
Completely beside the point of the video I believe Athanasia was a perfect background music for anytime you talk about Clovis Bray and the Deep Stone Crypt.
Sooooo was this purposefully timed with Destiny Lore Audiofile's release of the Bray Experiments as a radio drama? XD Because this was too perfect.
People turning into goop.... Sounds like Human Instrumentality
Really like an SCP facility. Just testing subjects without remorse. Only difference is SCP uses criminals on death sentences and such. Clovis just uses people. Kinda scary, yet intriguing.
And the scp foundation actually has feelings cause Clovis only cares for research and progress
Normal people are entertained by watching tv, reading books, and playing video games.
Clovis Bray is entertained by people ripping themselves to pieces, having their internal organs explode, and being painfully transformed into an alien species.
It's funny, with what we now know in the final shape, Clarity control might have been trying to warn them about the Witness. Only, as you surmised, they weren't paracausal beings, so they instead died terrible terrible deaths.
Interesting that the recording of the "accident" at clarity control had someone say "mom?" Potentially another instance of the darkness speaking in the voices of the dead, like it does to the player, osiris and caiatl in presage
Yay! New Byf video!!!
Human rights violations/ethical disregard competition:
Braytech vs Weyland Yutani
Go!
The raid lore video would be awesome but dont burn yourself out either man!
Ngl Clovis reminds me of Robert House and the institute leader known as Father. (Funnily enough the Fo4 main characters voice actor also voices Clovis.)
Am I the only one who would like to see the story of Clovis Bray and creation of the Exos as a live action TV show?
Thank you byf
Can you do lore on all the D1 and D2 Crucible maps that have lore associated with them because there’s a lot of interesting maps in D1 through the designs and locations
Also to add....I would love to know who/what Hive Wizard is trapped inside the crystal in The Dungeons map in D1
I want a destiny prequel PLEASE
