I Love, Love, LOVE his sound. I could spend the remainder of my life learning to play this piece and never reach this level of the sublime and articulated beauty! Gorgeous sound. ❤❤❤
sustaining the top line while articulating the bottom line with a single bow seems harder to me than playing with bow while doing left hand pizz... maybe im wrong?
I think left hand pizz is something that you can do or you can't. You just need the power in your fingers. If you can, then yes you are probably right.
Dear Augustin! You are a genius!!! Listening to your violin is a pleasure and a privilege! You are an inspiration, an example of a real musician, a master! Thank you!
@@趙益苰Hello! You are doing a really accurate transcribing. Can you, please, help me if you have time, to transcribe Vengerov's cadenza to the Brahms concerto th-cam.com/video/bUlBvhVUouw/w-d-xo.html, if it's nessesary, i can pay you and would be thankful for this... I really want to play this cadenza, but can't hear triple chords and so on...
What is the rationale for playing this as an unaccompanied solo piece, rather than with orchestral accompaniment, as we typically hear it? (Needless to say, the fact that something is "typically" done a certain way by no means necessitates that it always be done that way. But there is usually an explanation for a departure.)
Look at the faces of his fellow violinists. This is a virtuosic performance of a self created transcription. Playing a melody and differently notated countermelody on a bowed instrument is no easy feat. The mastery of his instrument is the point.
@@ts13579_texas_usaalso, encores are often pure solo pieces that way the orchestra doesn’t have to rehearse something that might not played. This was probably an encore.
Of course it’s ok to make an easier arrangement. But you can find easier arrangements of this already online. If you want to see his original score though it’s on his website. Can’t help you on the exact tempo unless it’s on his transcription.
0:33 that should be C#!
0:51 should be D C# Bb chord, Excellent work🎉
Im sorry but i think you are very very confidently wrong
@@corvinusfox3757erhaps it’s my time marking problem, it should be between 0:50-0:51, first chord of bar 25😊
he is absolutely right
This is my fault, but I'm too lazy to fix it.
@@趙益苰 you did a good job! I’m trying to learn it 😂👍🏻
I love how the musicians in the back are smiling because of the difficulty and the beauty in Handelich’s version of por una cabeza.
Yeah, right
When you have a group assignment, but you’re the one doing all the work
I saw him play this as a second encore at the proms last year. It was sublime. I'm not sure people will realise quite how difficult this is to play.
I didn’t think it was too difficult…until I tried playing it. 2-3 polyrhythms and the recap of the theme is so fucking hard to do on the violin.
@@TheAsianTreenot just the rhythms but maintaining the proper balance between the lines. This definitely shows his mastery that he makes this sound so effortless.
Only those who play the violin will understand how difficult is to play like that… for sure it worth 1000 likes 👍
He is so generous sharing his beautiful arrangement. No doubt he will be a historical performer. Todo un ejemplo de virtuosidad.
I feel so fortunate that I can understand what he is doing is magical

@@adambe1126yes, some people are just naturally good at it and others have to work really hard for it
@adambe1126 left hand pizz is much less about strength than it is technique. It involves precise angles and efficient motion to play and let ring
@@ThatOneGuyRAR Ah fair enough, that might explain why mine is so bad. Definitely on my bucket list to learn properly in the future!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the first F# in measure 8 supposed to be a 16th note instead of an eighth note? 0:16
It’s a little bit of artistic rubato.
