@Cohen McPherson Well, the code will still work on plenty of other products! Sorry we lagged on replying so long... Glad to hear you enjoy the helmet though!
I just wanna comment really quickly. This helmet is a life saver, I’m a 13 year old mountain biker and I was at a Derby Tasmania 3 days ago and I had a massive crash. I was going down kumma gutza on a downhill section that led into a rock garden. I was going about 25 kmh and at the end of the down hill my front tire got stuck in one of the rocks in the rock garden. I went head first over my Handel bars into a massive Boulder and 25 kmh. My head, neck and spine took all the blow. Luckily thank god I came out of it alive and not paralysed. Helmet was completely fucked afterwards but without such a good helmet I wouldn’t be here to type this comment. I was lucky to only have to spend 5 hours in hospital too. This helmet is well worth the money !!!!
Praise the Lord Noah your alive!! That is a story! I had no full face helmet and i crash too at the same speed and cut my head!!! :( But thank the Lord it was not any bigger!!!! or serious enough!
I have that exact helmet. In every other helmet I wear and own I'm a M. This helmet is unusually small. Like you said it's best to try on first if possible. I purchased through Backcountry and shipped mine back after wearing for two months. and went with the L. BC is great with their returns! I had to then use the larger pads to get the correct fit. The M was smushing my forehead. It fit, but barely. I think this helmet for many people just won't be quite right. I do like it, but the fit is just off.
I’ve had this helmet since last summer and can honestly say the airflow is superb. I don’t really ride in dense forest/tree areas with low light so the visor and goggle situation doesn’t really bother me. It’s a solid helmet but I would agree that the price is a bit high. I purchased a size L and went with the bigger cheek pads and it fits great. Great review guys
Hey thanks a lot Tommy! Glad to hear you are also happy with the helmet. We are definitely aware some issues that affect us may not be problems for others, and vice-a-versa, so we always appreciate feedback. Especially pointing out things we may not have noticed.
I just got the new 2021 Proframe. The lack of adjustable visor is a bit annoying. In terms of fit, their sizing chart is pretty accurate. My head's 54cm and the small was pretty good out the box and should get more comfy as the pads wear in.
A R I’ve been screwed over by the official Troy lee store in Laguna beach California. That store also sells about 50% random crap from other companies that have nothing to do with bikes or Motorsports. The manager wouldn’t take back knee pads that were bought in the wrong size bag the day after I bought them (and realized the error). Because of the awful customer service, I don’t buy Troy lee.
@@ninjaacoos Well i am his pup so i also have the same head too!!!! Thanks should i get this helmet Loam wolf or something else? I don't do alot of down hill or maybe a motorbike helmet is better? Its speed i go fast and can crash!
We reviewed the iXS on our website as well. They are 2 of our favorite helmets in this category but have some major differences in the fit/adjustment department. Head to our site and check out both detailed reviews.
@@TheLoamWolf not surprised! Best full face helmet I've ever owned. At first I thought it was a but crazy spending that mich money on a helmet but now I know why! Extremely light and comfortable!
My head is 23in but I wear glasses, on the size chart it says that the L is from 23.25 to 23.75. do you think that's enough for my glasses to fit comfortably or should I go with the XL which is 23.75 to 25.25??
We'd love to! It would look great in the garage next to our Husqvarna dual sport. However I don't think they're marketing to the North American market and our requests have gone unanswered... Thanks for asking though. We'll keep trying. Just keep leaving comments on their posts saying you want to see your favorite media dudes test one! haha
I'm dealing w a broken visor and would like to see a clip on replacement s . Also the helmet saved my face from serious rock section w the otb but my visor came in my front and cut my nose up and upper lip . I'm still happy as hell I had a full f but I guess I'm going to have to glue my broke visor back up . My visor is from a 2020 model and is fixed . Is there a replacement I can buy that yall know about ...
Some of us don't fit Leatt trail helmets very well, others love them. But, the Fox is lighter and more ventilated for sure. Beyond that fit, looks and preference would be on the user.
Not yet! Certainly very different helmets, so we think they'd have a pretty different consumer or application, but we wear our Pro Frame most. Followed by the Speed.
I won't get this helmet, as I read multiple stories about this chin guard snapping on impact. I've also head same story about Troy Lee stage. But I've not tried to crash with it my self, or seen footage of it just read stories. So far Only one story about the Stage.
I do NOT recommend a helmet for the slight impact of the crack. it is well ventilated, light, but I do not recommend the quality-price ratio, it leaves desirable disappointments, P.S [DH certified, say those from FOX] The damage is in my pocket, I will go to TROY LEE STAGE or another serious and quality brand
sorry for cussing WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO THIS HELMET? I HAVE SPENT THE PAST 3 HOURS SEARCHING FOR THE REASON THAT THIS IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. WHAT HAPPENED? actually tho, pls help me, I really want to buy one
It was a Lam-o review. People who are looking this video want to have an open opinion. what is Your favorite full face helmet (with removable chin guard) and what are the plus and minuses in comparison to this one. Did anyone in your group decided to buy one after trying ? You can do better :)
Not sure what was Lam-o about it? This isn't a helmet with a removable chin bar, so, it's not going to be a review on a removable chin bar helmet. We're not particularly huge fans of those types of helmets either, and believe a dedicated product will perform better. That is not necessarily backed up by scientific testing, only what we want to put our face behind and head inside as well as anecdotal stories we hear along the way. So, let us know what we need to do better on? Reviewing a helmet that has a removable chin bar in a video that is specifically titled "full face helmet review?" Or creating another video specifically reviewing removable chin bar helmets?

@@manuabecassis Alright Horace, here we go. Favorite full face helmet per application - 7idp or 100% Aircraft for downhill riding/bike park. The Leatt is my favorite full face helmet for ebiking on super aggressive terrain, the Fox reviewed here is my favorite for aggressive trail riding, light duty shuttle days and ebiking on warmer days. We've had 2 friends buy this helmet and have both been happy. Pluses and minuses all come from ventilation/weight which is why the different helmets have different applications and ideal users. You didn't ask, but if I had to chose one helmet to do everything from DH to eMTB to Enduro I'd maybe have to pick the Leatt or 7iDP as they seem most able to handle DH but will be warmer for trail riding applications. If i didn't ride DH or big bikes, then I'd probably pick this Fox. Hope that's better enough.

Straps were super uncomfortable on my adams apple, so I positioned them under cheek pads, and now its so much better.
Looking forward in wearing this helmet for "multi hour" rides.

I got lucky, my ProFrame fits perfect and makes me feel like a KOM .
it would easily be broken like the old Proframe ?
The impact properties are the most important properties. Can you please start impact testing them?
Proframe is a nice helmet with good airflow. Can’t find any other helmet that matches it’s air flow.
Well, the TLD Stage has better airflow and at least equal protection

Is the visor attached with magnets like the Fox Moto Helmets? Designed to break away in a crash?
It is not attached with magnets, there are pins that clip into the helmet but they will break away in the event of an impact.
I want to ask whether you think this would be suitable for e skating?
Yes it should be fine for that.
