I always laugh when I hear the prices of guns in the US because they are dirt cheap. All handguns are illegal in the UK, you can't even get a license for one. You could get one anyway if you knew the right people (by which I mean the wrong people) but it'll cost you between $3500 and $10,000 equivalent and risk a minimum 5 year jail sentence. I watch these videos to see what I would get, if I could get one. For now I'm happy with a pointy stick, and I don't really need a gun because even criminals don't bother to carry them as a matter of course here. If someone came after you with a gun here it's because you're a rival criminal. It's just not worth the jailtime to bother with them. Still, good to know that if I had a choice I'd probably pick the G3C.
@@TerryBenton You can apply for a shotgun or rifle (.22) license, but you need to demonstrate why you need it and even then you can be rejected for all sorts of reasons, and the final decision is up to the police who take the view that if you want a firearms license then you are the type of person who shouldn't be given a firearms license. They do generally allow farmers to have a shotgun license. You also have to agree to let the police access your property at any time and without notice to allow them to check that it is properly stored and they can also check the rest of the property to make sure you aren' leaving any ammunition around, which essentially means a full search. For 99.999%+ of people, it's not worth applying. You also can't carry them, open or concealed unless you are going to a documented pre-booked appointment to hunt, visit a range or take the gun to a repairer. When you transport it, it must be in a lockbox with the key being transported separately. It's a very different country to the US, where you have bears etc so people don't need guns to defend against wildlife, so criminals can't misuse them, so civilians don't need them to defend against criminals. The vast majority of police don't have guns either. TBH I'd love to have a gun, but not at the cost of everyone else being able to have one too. I'd want to be the only one, because you can't trust other people with your life.
I have both . And the 43x will always be better. My opinion. It’s slimmer than the g3. You can run 15,18, and 20 rd mags in the 43x . It’s way more customizable than the g3 is. And to me shoots better than the g3 . And the fact that 3 brand new g3/g3c mags crapped on me at 200rds , I’ll stick to Glock reliability for edc.
I own the g3c I have also owned a Glock 45 I wanted something more compact for ccw, sold the 45 and got a g30 .45 auto. My opiniop, best ccw. However I like to fluctuate my ccw so I picked up the g3c and my thoughts on it after a couple thousand rounds. It comes out of the box better than a Glock and for the price, Damn. Glock is the Gucci of the gun market people pay for the name alot and Glock knows it. They make a $12 pistol and sell it for $600. However comparing the g43x to the g3c, Glock now makes a gen 5 g43x and it is MOS. Shield Arms makes aftermarket metal magazines that hold 15 rounds flush in the gun. And even 20 round mags that only extend out slightly. And with all the aftermarket parts for Glock. I would choose the g43x in fact I'm thinking of buying one lol. I still love my g3c and it's use will be a range gun and or training gun.
In all the rounds I've put through my g3c have all been brass cheap stuff. No jams or jelly from it definitely wouldn't put it past a reliable ccw. It eats hollow points no issue as well
G3c has a couple people making triggers and barrels fot it. Slide can always be milled for 100 or so and can accept 10,12,15,17 rnd mags or p226 mags. Still cheaper than Glock. Buuut as much I like g3, have 3 of them, Glock has better CS and they are mil proven. G3c is street proven though 😂
I know the G3 alone is similar in dimension to the 19 but the G3x wouldn't compare to the 43x or 19. G3 grip length with a 3.2 inch slide of the g3c. Longer then the 43x in height and shorter than 19 in length.
Ok. If we are being honest, a glock is a "budget gun" also. They are cheap too. There are only a couple of hundreds difference in price. Both are bottom end budget guns that go bang every time.

They actually are
I have both .
Good information. Thanks for sharing
With the G2/3 series 'C' Taurus you can run 15 and 17 rd mags, in addition to standard 12 rd. I carry a 12 rd in in, plus second 15 rd mag.
It eats hollow points no issue as well
Funny thing is I carry the G30s. Slim slide 45acp. 10 rds. Thanks for watching
@@Fastasfffboiii they never malfunction. Great gun
The Taurus g3x would have been a better comparison to glock 43x.
@THORR-mh9px I am not very familiar with that one. I will look into them. Thank you
@@TerryBenton I have them both/ would like your opinion. Great video!
@@THORR-mh9px I will definitely look into it.
The Taurus g3x is a better comparison to the GLOCK 43x. Not the g3c.
Why is that?
I know the G3 alone is similar in dimension to the 19 but the G3x wouldn't compare to the 43x or 19. G3 grip length with a 3.2 inch slide of the g3c. Longer then the 43x in height and shorter than 19 in length.
100% Taurus.
I agree now
Stop comparing budget guns against heavy weights glocks go bang everytime taurus are guns for first time buyer's go to the range and practice guns
Ok. If we are being honest, a glock is a "budget gun" also. They are cheap too. There are only a couple of hundreds difference in price. Both are bottom end budget guns that go bang every time.
Bad grammar and bad point.
@TerryBenton any gun under 400 considered budget my guy yeah you can catch used glocks for that price that doesn't mean it budget just means a good quality glock for the low
@@allmightydollar6330 ok
@TerryBenton BTW Taurus have bad rep muy buddy got a Taurus shit be jamming glocks go bang everytime never had a problem with glocks talking from experience glock haters
My EDC ... TAURUS G3C 💯‼️
Good deal!!!!
No contest ♉️+ HST x Critical D🩸🐝=🚮 🤣,Smiths are as low as you ever go for reliable budget hollow eaters best out the OG SD9VE🪶👑 and 🛡+TS,but G26/23 the only two glocks you’ll ever need
I do not disagree
