Audi TT Mk2 Passenger Door lock Fix - With the door closed/locked!!

Pretty unique situation this one; the Audi's passenger door lock stopped working in the 'locked' position, meaning the door couldn't be opened. What seemed impossible at first ending up being resolvable, by means of prying the door panel and blindly working out how to undo the latch manually.
Hopefully this might help someone out in the future. Sorry it's such a long video, it's the first we've completed so our editing skills aren't really up to scratch!
