Heya Kelley! Thanks for watching!
According to moped army the cdi needs to be flipped..
Hey David, I like your videos a lot, so I'd like to buy you a beer. As there is quite some water between us, do you have a donation Pay pall thing somewhere?
I appreciate it! No donation or ads on this channel. I do it for the love of mopeds 😍. I will drink one in your honor tonight though.
@@DavidFixesHisShit The Weizen is already on temperature here, so I am way ahead of you!
Did you cut a slit on gromet all the way acros?
Nice work Dave as always love your video's. I had another question for you though...I got my 2010 sprint Tomos running again, you were right it was easy and I was over thinking the timing. But now that it's running the headlight, kill switch, and horn don't work even though it runs??? Could the www.treatland.tv/tomos-A55-throttle-assembly-with-kill-switch-p/tomos-a55-throttle-with-kill.htm. be bad, or??? Because what's funny to me is it runs even when the kill switch is grounded, and even when it's hot. I tried 2 different horns and neither worked, one of which was new. I can't say if the headlight is bad though, no tests atm, but it looks good and worked before I replaced the stator coil.
do you have a harbor freight in your town? go there and get a cheapo multimeter. sometimes they even give them away! somwhere between the engine and the switches a connection is broken. it could even be IN a wire! with the meter yo can track the signal. could be as simple as a bad ground.
as a matter of fact, being that multiple things on the same control are not working. i would almost guarantee it.
@@aaronblair9583 It's weird because the headlight and horn work when the kill switch is in the grounded position...but still no kill switch function!?!?
Quentin- I gotta agree with Aaron here. Wiring is a PITA and without getting in there and seeing it, it’s gonna be nearly impossible to troubleshoot. Unfortunately, that means you need to get a multimeter and check all the wires and make sure they are going where they are supposed to.
@@DavidFixesHisShit Thanks for the tips guys I'm going to figure it out 1 way or another :-)
