This mans training is chiseled in his face and his voice is a steelwire of truth that all of us can benefit from. All what he says is easy, but to do it is a different story. The true discipline is the self discipline, you're the only one who can push yourself. We as martial artist don't always have car, wife, kids, job, or house. Our life is training, food, water, and the rent, we are in a different world. Easier said than done. Action will always speak louder than words.

To the *incredible person* that's seeing this, I wish you all the best in life❤ don't over blame yourself, accept things and go forward. Don't let others define what “success” is for you. Get up, learn the skills needed and get after it, all the keys to a happy life is in your hands. Keep pushing.

A true Story of Life in Martial Arts. This is the real true behind the Martial Arts or The Shaolin Arts. The dedication the devotion the courage to go into the deep of control yourself, to seek the courage to fight your self to get the balance in all time.
I came from Traditional Karate-do and our way is the same, our Japanese Master teach us all this philosophy and training movements "different but same spirit", and he came from Japan. There is a big common path from the past that unify the China an Japan Martial Arts. The diference is that in Karate in all this years lost almost all the good things and is almost just sport and "CobraKay", with Shaolin they have the power to continue "behind the Wall's" and protect their knowledge. After My master pass away, more than 20 years, I found another Master, this is Shifu Shi Heng Yi, I did not meet him for now but one day i will be there and we will share our stories. Thanks for sharing this Documentary, Thank you, Shifu Shi Heng Yi 🙏🙇

I first learned of Shaolin teachings more than 50 years ago. The was no TH-cam, there was no internet, there was TV; a show called, "Kung Fu". That short lived television show introduced me to this philosophy. I always thought it would be great if the world could be exposed to this teaching. Thanks to Master Shi Heng Yi, now they can. Blessings to you.

So eloquently stated, Lady Jenny. You summed it up exactly and verbalized what I've been trying to explain to people about the newfound motivation I am feeling to reclaim my life. His words and the Shaolin teachings heal the wounds I think a lot of people are feeling. It's not *just* the pandemic (it is...but), it's that on top of everything else and out of self-protection so many are retreating. Anyway - good stuff.

Thank you so much for continuing to share the Shaolin wisdom. He and your team are truly bringing to light this incredible practice which is not only helping so many already, but will continue to do so evermore. I personally am so thankful to have come across your first documentary of Master Shi Heng Yi's months ago, since then I have been practicing daily and have found so much clarity within this. So much so I decided to take the year off and travel into the wilderness to do some QiGong and evolve with his teachings even more. And with travel I have been to places that inspire me, on top of cliff faces within the raw desert and more recently high up within the Andes Mountains, where I was called to for some reason. Now, with a combination of immersing myself in mother earth and applying what I learn from your videos I feel so inspired by life I decided I wanted to share my journey as it unfolds with the world too. I decided to share my adventure within my TH-cam page in the hope it also inspires others to do good for themselves and those around us. I wanted to share a perspective from someone who is also doing this work. It is a new journey for us all but I believe everyone who is doing the work within these practices are on the right track to finding the peace love light and joy

Ingraining the words of yours very deeply "It´s not important that you become a good fighter in this world, it is not important that you become a good spiritual guide in this world, it is important that you find a way to live a pleasant life and in the best case support other people that they also find the same" . I love this with all my heart as well as the truth that we do create the world with and through our thoughts - imagination rules our lives and therefore our planet, the one that nurtures our wants and needs to live here. We truly better should be conscious of and take good care about which power we have to affect and create ourselves and all we´re surrounded by. Thank You for being here for us 🙏

@@learningtolearn4190Hi, everyone can follow the precepts. Not just a Buddhists. I don’t come from a Buddhist family. 1. Refrain from killing or taking life. 2. Refrain from stealing. 3. Refrain from the misuse of senses, too much sensual pleasure. 4. Refrain from wrong speech. 5. Refrain from intoxicants. #3 typically means to not have affairs or to stay true in relationships. Not to have meaningless encounters. However with the 5th precept, there is Theravadic views that are very strict, down to Mahayana very liberal views that say it’s about intention. So if your intention is to have one beer on occasion with intention of enjoyment, not to alter the mind or to ease suffering than it’s up to you. I am raising my family Buddhist and my children are taught the first 2 precepts in a lighter hearted way. They really enjoy the meal prayers and teachings.

Thank you so much for your sense of humor. I had a lot of fun with your "mini-documentary", especially love those three moments: 3:13 Óm manra, 10:40 observing the tea leaves at the bottom of the teapot vs. looking into smartphones and and 15:46 the incident with bowls. 😊 In the next life, I wish to be a strong man in order to work as a volunteer in the Temple... but this life I have a different path, first of all to be a crazy woman and learn to work on myself better. May you have more pleasant, blessed and happy moments in the New Year. I'm with you all. 🙏📿❤️

*9 things to quit for all Strong Men🚀:*
    1. Caring about what others think
    2. Not believing in yourself
    3. Listening Joe Rogan (suggested only if you working out/jogging/walking while doing it.) Net = No Extra Time
    3. Not prioritizing your health
    4. Wasting your precious time
    5. Chasing meaningless relationships
    6. Wasting or draining your energy from beating your meat 🥩
    7. Bad habits, keep reading:
    8. Dirty websites (if you do it - consider stopping it as it makes you mentally weak + affects your confidence and all other areas of your life!)
    9. Smoking/drinking (not good as well! Makes it easy for your competitors to beat you.)
Take it easy and I hope you found one thing helpful in this list.

I love these videos, to me these lessons you are sharing are the beginning of the fight back.
I was wrong, we have 3 horses already upon us.
These lessons will teach those that need it to help move the fear which stays knotted in their stomachs, to a more beneficial use of the Chi, to help move the fear away from the stomach and help fight back the dark spirits haunting their dreams

Can my son and I come and join you? This is something my son and I would benifits from. A different thinking than the modern world... To add on its so amazing to here others wanting to help people aswell. The world seems to be going a very selfish way, but there's love and honor in helping those around you without expectation of return

First of all Happy New Year to you. May the abundance of prosperity and health be with you. It is nice to retreat I myself would of like to be in a secluded place. However in the city it is a bit difficult. But my decision is to return to my village in the forest where I lived from birth. It's a life with much less and more love. There is a lot to teach and learn in this life crises or not. I hope I experience a little bit of yours someday. To the handsome monk much love💗

Goals start with Zero Dimension as a thought, it becomes target with 1D, then it becomes progress which can be seen as a 2D picture, finally one day you succeed and it will be on your hand in 3D form. Enjoy all dimensions of your goal journey. 😃 Have a nice day 😊
