  • In 1982, Hasbro introduced this new 1/18 scale, reimagining G.I. Joe as an elite military unit dedicated to defending freedom against the evil Cobra organization. Each figure was individually packaged on cards similar to those used in Kenner’s Star Wars line. Figures came with various accessories such as helmets, backpacks, and weapons. The initial assortment included nine G.I. Joe figures and two Cobra figures.
Today, the G.I. Joe Classified Series features 6-inch (1/12th) scale figures. These figures update the classic 3 3/4-inch toys into a highly articulated 6-inch scale boasting deco and detailing. The line includes major A Real American Hero (ARAH) characters in either standard or redesigned appearances and includes vehicles and playsets. Figures in this series have multiple points of articulation for dynamic posing.
In summary, the original 1982 G.I. Joe figures laid the foundation for the franchise, while the G.I. Joe Classified Series brings these beloved characters to life in a modern, highly detailed format. Whether you’re a die-hard fan or a new collector, both series offer unique and exciting experiences!
In this action-packed video, I dive into the world of GI Joe Classified figures, featuring Rock and Roll, General Hawk, Grunt, Retro Snake Eyes, Retro Scarlett, and Clutch with the VAMP vehicle. These iconic characters come to life with intricate detailing and classic designs. Join me as I unbox these collectibles, explore their packaging, and highlight their unique features. While articulation won’t be covered, we’ll celebrate the nostalgia and craftsmanship of these beloved figures!
NOTE: Hey fellow toy-a-phile (plastic-a-phile?), I started this channel so I’d have some company while opening up my figures and taking them for a spin. As you’ve guessed, many of these figures didn’t come out recently.
On occasion, I might open something new and post the video right away or post something special because a movie opened or it’s a holiday. But mostly, I’m just excited to have an outlet for my fandom. I really appreciate the watch and though my voice is excruciating and it’s clear I have no idea what I’m doing but I'm glad you're here.
And, as always, ENJOY YOUR TOYS.

HAL was not dumb looking. I still have it. I preferred it over the jet pack. I do hope he comes with the laser cannon

Classified Line is a great toy line. I started collecting the line once it got announced back in 2020.
I was more of Transformers kid. And didn't get really into Gi Joe until 1986. Optimus Prime getting killed in Transformers kinda killed my love for Transformers. And everyone in my hood was collecting GI Joe after the movie came on T.V.

If you look up the black on black #MN128 and it's metal upgrades, you can recreate the #msv stinger utilizing the classified series 111 heatseek missle system trailer hitch to the back of the jeeps. Also used stickers from toyhax to finish them kitbash. Suuuuuper Dope! Highly recommend!

That's probably a version they won't make so doing that adds another vehicle/playset to your collection without waiting. It's also worth noting that there are a lot of third-party upgrades for the VAMP on Etsy and Gridiron Studios. If you ordered the max amount of Vamps, you can make 5 distinct VAMPs. I ordered 2 so I'll have to stretch them a bit. And I'm hoping that the Stinger add ons will fit both jeeps so I can mix and match the parts.

It all started with Clutch and the Vamp for my brother and I. Got it for Christmas. Think it said 1981 on the leg. After that it was on!! Every week when we would get our allowance we would buy more and also collected all the comics. I still have all the comics and my brother has all the figures.

The first Gi Joe figures I got as a Kid was Roadblock and The Cobra HISS with driver. So 1984 is the year my folks got me some of the toys.
As a kid Never really cared for most of the original 9 or 12 Joe figures. Because like you stated they had the same bidy molds but different heads. They looked like basic army men. I liked the unique looking figures that appeared in the cartoon and later in the line beginning in 83/84. So only Stalker and Scarlett were the only figures I wanted out of the first line. I liked the 1985 ninja version of Snake Eyes and late 80's version of Rock and Roll. Which the Classified version kinda took desogn ideas from.
It wasn't until the 3.75 inch 25th anniversary line that I got more of the original 12 Joe figures.

Col. Hawk originally came with the Mobile missile system in 1982. My first 82 toy was the Vamp and clutch. I collected til 1985. I'm collecting certain Classified figures at the moment !!! Good video. I bought a 3d printed gun for the Vamp that looks like the original Vamp gun from 82 off ebay for $11.00.

I found it under "G.I. Joe Classified Vamp Original Inspired Turret Laser Gun" and bought one. He's also selling battle-damaged doors and nitrous oxide for the center console to make Clutch's VAMP more of a threat.

The VAMP is selling for almost $300 on eBay. I would like to know who is paying that? I've seen no TH-cam stream where anyone admits to buying at that price.

I think that they will release more even if it takes a few months. They're reusing the mold for the Stinger and put it out on other sites so now they can get an idea of how many more VAMPs they can sell if they release them to a wider audience (which means not keeping them as an exclusive offering).

@marshmallowfanboy It would not suprise me if Hasbro waited to rerelease the VAMP until after version 2. That would be a big seller since there are so many still wanting a Joe version. Then, rerelease version 1, and collectors would circle back and buy that one again as well.
