The Amazon Roadblock is my ideal Classified Roadblock, and I am delighted with that one. I'm glad this out out for anyone who wants it, but it's an easy pass for me. I just picked this up a few weeks ago and haven’t even opened it. I wanted the original tripwire and roadblock. Just not feeling tigerforce. Had I known it was $60 bucks I wound have left it on the shelf.
I feel like a retro card Roadblock is coming in the near future, but I suspect they will use this same old body. Re-tooled legs would be awesome. Without those damn shin guards and single knee pad.
I would not be surprised if they mix it up and give him a new vest for the V2 Roadblock. And I will hate it because I will have to buy it. I loved my original V2 Roadblock. The thing is he came with the machine gun you get in this 2pack. But a higher tripod. Making it able for him to stand behind it. As well as a knife on his vest. Just like the earlier version from the first wave.
NGL, I just bought this for Roadblock’s backpack and gun. I’m not really a fan of TF but I have them all. I think it’s the weird browns and yellows. And the Tiger Paw is coming too. 🤷🏻♂️
Lenny did say the little play sets like check point alpha and the cobra bunker are coming to classified and some brand new ones 👍🏻 I’d love some laboratory pieces for mindbender
@@beesbattlegrounds they see all the stuff people are 3d printing on there own and there a market for it ….make accessory packs , play set pieces…make the inside of the box have a nice background you can fold out and use …..if Lenny is bringing it up I would think they have some slated for next year…..and it will be nicer quality and cheaper then the 3D printed stuff. The prices on that stuff is to much. I have a few pieces. I got a microphone podium for cobra commander it was like $20 and it looks pretty good but if you really look at it you can see the “stack lines” from the printer the cobra insignia is a little wonky and for what it is it should of been maybe $10
My knees on Tripwire was that solid I thought I'd rip them off trying to bend lol. I think this is all of TF? Maybe life line still to come... Just a correction not the same knees they have no knee pad as in the V1 RB legs this is just painted ala Bazzooka's legs
I do need a new Roadblock (as I still have the original Classified release lol, though I did give him the .50 from Action Soldier) but I'll probably just wait for a hopeful retro version.
The other figure you missed was the Tiger Force bazooka. And those aren't exactly the same legs the knee pad is missing from the left leg but overall they are the same as the last five figures that used that mold.
I only want this pack because of the roadblock and the only other one I’d get is just about the same price which is absurd 🤦♂️ either wait forever for them to restock or hope for good retro

I did not pick this up. TF Tripwire was my Tripwire growing up, so he has a soft spot for me. I did have Roadblock, but I also had v1 and 2, so it was less memorable. I may see about getting either Tripwire.

MacLeod is the Scots spelling for "McCloud," BTW. We have a hardware store in my town called MacLeod's, and my wife always pronounces it the same way you do. 😂
TF is definitely not my thing, but my youngest son has been collecting them. So, I'm sure this set will wind up on our shelves. It's funny you mentioned people not knowing what the pistol grip is. I've actually seen folks calling the ammo pack a cooking kit. I guess because it has "Chef" written on it. I swear, it's like some GI Joe fans have never actually seen or read any of the GI Joe media, or hell just seen an action movie.
I so want this set so bad I missed out. Targets in NYC are abysmal for current Joe releases and always has been. On another note my NF shockwave I just preordered last week at WM is shipping and will arrive tomorrow. I canceled my pulse set because it was on sale at Walmart last week, that will be here tomorrow, unlike the newest Joe wave this was an unbelievably quick turn around for preorders that went in late last week at WM. Are yours en route too? If you Preordered NF shockwave?
love your reviews, but I ask that you not be so snarky with people that ask questions on Facebook like "what's this piece for?" not everyone gets into the figure collecting game at the same time and frankly, I would MUCH RATHER fb be filled with questions about figures (even recurring questions) than the anger/hate/trolling that occurs in many posts

Honestly i feel for tripwire. I have a similar story about my fiance and not really caring about my life. I have to get the tigerforce tripwire because i had him as a kid. otherwise i think i'd skip this pack. Love roadblock but i really don't need 5 of him. Classified is running into the issue of not having enough popular media to push multiple versions of characters. Or to make characters not from the original cartoon overly popular. (there are always some exceptions)

I mean I ship my figures to a US PO Box, so I don’t get import charges from BBTS. I’m kinda sticking to the main line. Who ever I know from the cartoon or who I had as a kid. Plus I’m an army builder, so skipping the sub teams doesn’t really bother me.

This was the Tripwire I had as a kid! My kids still play with him at my parents house. Love these.
