I am an English language teacher in an Italian high school. I am not good at maths, but I enjoy your videos. I would like to say that your teaching methods are crystal clear and very professional. I will recommend them to my students who often tell me that they struggle with maths. Have a nice day. Kind regards, Alfred.
Great videos! I'm newbie to you're channel and I'm realy happy that I found the perfect math channel/teacher that explains in a realy simple way. Thanks alot!
Not just divide. But also when you multiply. So if you have an inequality problem, and you are multiply or divide by a nagtiive you flip the inequality.
Just step over that issue and begin changing sides at first -2X > 10 so -10 > 2x (just line in an equation) and you don't have now the negative sign in the term whit X so -10 > 2x then -5 > x and that's it. -5 > x the same as x
So true! Pretty Advanced Maths is critical for Nursing. I’ve been a nurse for > a Lot of years & Maths helped nurses save >/< LOTS of lives. Too sad, even Basic Maths has become ultra political in our public schools.
When you divide an inequality by a negative number you must flip the inequality at the end. However, you can avoid this step by adding or subtracting the negative number to one side so it becomes positive :) (pls pin)
That is ture. But in this case you are dividing by a negative numer. So you have to fip the inequality sine. Also the same rule applys if ou are multiplying by a negative number.

6:52 is when he gets to the math work.
Excellent detailed is easy to understand explanation. Thank you so much.

Thank you. I don’t recall learning about manipulating inequalities at school. ⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍👍 from 🇦🇺

-0.5x > 5
-0.5x - 5 > 0
- x > 10
- 10 > x
...which effectively means x < - 10, it's logical no need to multiply both sides by -1
🤪
-0.5x > 5
x < -10

I knew it was greater
X is less than minus 10
What is the real world application?
nothing he talks too much
Math provides you the tools for analysis and problem solving. Those are useful real-world skills no matter what you do in life.
@@lennartbjorksten707 so what you are saying there’s no real world application.
@@fgarduno13 That's correct, if you never do any analysis or problem solving in your entire life.
However calculus helps a lot in the real world
you take so long with your explanatory introductions that a student will be past caring by the time the so-called simple error is finally arrived at
