I’ve never watched HardKnocks but I will when the Bears are on.
The Bears have been losing not because of distraction, but the fact that they have been bereft of talent and the people managing the team have been incompetent. I believe now is different. This is in fact is a distraction. There’s no doubt about that. Nonetheless, it is better to get it out the way now than to suffer this distraction in subsequence and more vital sessions.

Hard Knocks is something I've always enjoyed... I'm happy to see the Bears got the knod. I think we're ready. Our facilities and city scape are beautiful. We have an interesting roster and everyone one the Draft Day Documentary the Bears released looked comfortable on camera. Bears looked First Class... We're ready... Bear Down!

How can u compare last year and this with distractions. It’s a very different situation when u add 4-6 impact players one of which is a new QB? Not mad about hard knock in Chicago but to say it won’t be a distraction is just not true
The history of the teams on Hard Knocks is that the teams pretty much sucked the previous year and thats why they were chosen to be ON Hard Knocks. Of course they're not neccessarily going to be good the season they do Hard Knocks. I would argue the Bears are one of the better Hard Knocks teams chosen.

As someone from Germany, the bean is the thing for Chicago. Nobody outside the US would recognize the skyline or any tower you have. It's the bean. Accept it.
